Does anyone know whether it's possible to stream the feed from the Nova-T to the MVP or stream a DVD movie from the PCs DVD drive to the MVP? Is this a competely unfeasable idea. It would be great to be able to get rid of a couple of boxes in the sitting room.
Apologies for the slightly off target post but I know some smart people look at this forum and my GBPVR/Nova-T/MVP project is on hold until I upgrade my Nova-T to the USB2 version which supports the required drivers.
I like this GB-PVR software and you've been all a tremendous help. I've been using my PVR150 +MVP for the last 2months or so and couldn't have got this far without the info on this forum! But this time I'm stuck and dont know how to proceed. Please help!
Yesterday when watching a previously recorded movie I got 'connecting to servers...' from my MVP (twice in one film). Just now I started the same film again and it stops even after a few minutes! I will be able to watch the rest of the movie when restarting the GB-Server and forward the movie to where we left it, but it did work before without the hassle.
What I did recently (that I can think of) is I upgraded to GB-PVR 91.11. Just before that I ran an upgrade of mediamvp_2.4.23088.exe.
The event-viewer doesn't show me anything strange and neither does the processor show a heavy utilisation.
Could anyone point me in the right direction on where to start troubleshooting?
Thx, Quint

My system is running quite well on V9109. I just upgraded my graphics card which improved the video quality and fixed a number of lockup issues I was having with the ancient Rage128. The new card is an MSI RX9550 128m - quite cheap, supports DX9, passive heatsink that runs very cool and good TVout.
One or two issues remain tho. The GBPVR interface will hang if I start a manual recording and then cancel it. GBPVR seems to be waiting for some kind of response from the recording service. If I restart the recording service GBPVR will come back. I scanned the logs but didn't see anything that looked relevent.
I don't see anybody else having this issue, so I checked the XP file permissions and I've enabled full access to owner/admin and others but it didn't change anything.
I didn't see any changes in the last two releases that looked like it would affect this, so I haven't upgraded.
I can live with this, but I'd like to fix it if possible. Any suggestions ?
I'm fairly sure that I have the same plugins and setup in config on my pc at work as I do at home. But when I play a capture on one, I get the top and bottom osd showing green bar and blue play options. On the other, they are not there.
Just finished.
Resized the email body text to fit better.
Resized the email body window to hold the text without it spilling over.
Changed the colours to the Blue scheme, with DarkGreen selected backgrounds.
Changed the radius on all boxes to a uniform size.
Unzip and replace skin.xml in the /devnz/gbpvr/skin/blue/email folder.
Edit: Also updated Boot Blue 3D Media Edition, and Blue Bubbles skins with the new email plugin and skin. Available on the Wiki.
i can't seem to get the new my videos plugin working followed all instructions set up all the paths in the plugin...but it doesn't show in my gbpvr screen can anyone help ??
I know from all the searches I have done that I really should give up on this, but I can't just get my head around it!
I do not have an IR.EXE so (I assume I can't map functions), I have an irmote.ini but it only has one item in it.
My confusion is that as the MVP responds to most keys(even if not correctly) somewhere there must be a prog that interprets it. Or maybe not, I don't know!!
Reven is making some additions for MyMusic but because of lack of unused keys (even tho the're not unused from my perspective) I would need to map a keystoke to a key.
Ignoring plugins, what has to be saved to do a clean install to not lose settings?
Also, if I have GB-PVR set up on multiple pcs, and get one JUST how I want it, can I just copy the GB folder to the other pcs? Or are there thigns that go on outside of the GB folder with changes like in the reg.
