Is there a way to display GBPVR full-screen to my secondary output (DVI-Television) at startup?

Primary (VGA) - Computer Monitor
Secondary (DVI) - Television

This is not related to GBPVR at all, but I have tried a few other forums with no luck finding an answer to what I am doing wrong, if anything...

*This has been done using both the stock software from Hauppauge (Including the newest beta), and the GBPVR*

I have 2 MVP units, they both use the RCA cables that came with them, and are plugged in to two different receivers. One of them is a newer model (about 3 years old), and it does not matter if I play an MP3 or a movie, it only plays on one channel (One speaker has sound, the other does not). The other receiver is an older model, and has a stereo/mono switch for the input that the MVP is hooked up to. If I have it set to stereo, it will play nothing, if it is set to mono it will play through both speakers, but of course the same signal out of both.

Has anyone ever heard of this, or have an idea to what is going on with it? :confused:

Hello can someone explain to me how to watch my PAL video tape recorder connected with composite with gbpvr please? i tried the quickstart guide but i m not sure i understand it well.
I use a hauppage wintv 150 PVR.

I get this problem intermittently. Sometimes when I try to select a program from the tvguide to record, GBPVR freezes. I'm no sure what causes this. Have found no rhyme or reason to it. Usually a reboot solves it.

However when I restart GBPVR, the program has been added to be recorded.

I would really like to see some confirmations in a few important areas. For instance, when you click on a recording in the Pending screen that is currently in progress, you have an option to Play, Canel, or Exit. The cancel button is aweful tempting if you are wanting to back out to the previous menu, but if you accidentally hit it, your recording is shot. A big ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO CANCEL would be a good idea there....

That's just one example, there are a couple other places that would benefit from a confirmation just for safety, but I just wanted to throw the idea out...

GB-PVR looks great, much better than WinTV2000, but I am using an S-video connection from the Hauppauge breakout cable to my TV and I can't get any picture. Audio seems fine. Did I miss something in the setup or will GB-PVR not send to the S-video on the WinTV-350?

Suddenly after the last restart, my GB-PVR won't start anymore. The config won't start either, stating the same error:

"Ukjent databaseformat" means "Unknown DB format".

Could anyone help? I had a computer "freeze" yesterday, with a hard reboot yesterday, maybe that could have caused some bad states?

In case you tried like me and couldn't install the new version of GB-PVR (probably as Spartan said, a version number issue) read below! Follow these steps AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

Run regedit
Goto:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData
FROM THERE (otherwise you'll find loads of other stuff first) hit Ctrl-F and search for 'GB-PVR' (without quotes).
It should find something in an 'InstallProperties' directory. Rename that something else, like 'InstallProperties111'. Run the install file for the new version! Enjoy!
This worked for me, edit the registry at your own risk!

I am a new user of GB-PVR on an MVP and am having a problem. If I select a music title in My Music it immediately reboots the MVP. It works OK on the PC.
Anyone got an idea of what is wrong?
