I seems like I am unable to tune in to channels above 255.
If I select a channel above 255 the wrong channel is displayed.
It looks like that the channels are starting from 0 again after channel 255.
Example:
If I select Channel 256 it will show Channel 001
If I select Channel 257 it will show Channel 002
If I select Channel 265 it will show Channel 009
The same thing happens when using WINDVR 5 that came with my PX-TV402.
Anybody know how to fix this. I don't think that this issue is related to GB-PVR directly.
I want use GB-PVR with my Hauppauge 150MCE but I don't know how to set GB-PVR to not use EPG. My country don't have any EPG and I need to set the channels manually. Every time I try to press OK button in settings dialog, GB-PVR ask me for EPG settings. Can anybody help me?
Just wanted to say thanks to sub for everything. For a great program, great support, and just working hard for basically nothing more than some donations and personal satisfaction.
I figured w/ round after round of "this isn't working!" and working hard to make it right after every release, you should get some kudos once in a while.
I hope everyone at least once puts in a donation of some kind at least once. We all get a hell of a lot for nothing.
every time i upgrade gbpvr the installer replaces the channel icons i use with the original ones (which well are old, and are ugly). now this usually isnt a big deal, but sometimes when you just enter the config the installer pops up, and replaces the icons again. i make plugins, that means i often am bug testing a few things (ie often need to open up the config app) and then i have to keep replace the icons (after a while it gets really annoying). i just hope theres some way the installer can see these icons are already there so it doesnt replace those files.
I am running the latest version (as far as i know) of GB-PVR. BTW, I think it is awesome and I love it.
But recently when i started the program it asked for the installer - so i dl'ded it and navigated it to it. It looked like when you start a feature of MS office that you havent installed. Anyway, it did a quuick install thing, then started GB.
Now when I go to the Theater Plugin it just says "you have no shows" and wont update or anything!
Ive tried removing the plugin, resetting it, even system restoring to a previous point when the theater plugin was working. I have an internet connection that works.
I just built an HTPC with a PVR-250 in it. When I added a 250 to an existing computer before, the computer detected it, and asked for the CD for drivers, etc. This time, however, I built the whole thing from scratch at once. After the power-up, it did not ask for any drivers, etc. for the 250. So it has nothing right now. So here's my question: What exactly do I need to install with a fresh-built PVR-250 installed? What should I download new, and what should I get from the CD (if anything)?
Sorry if this is dumb, but I don't want to mess this up.
Thanks
It would be real nice if record services worked like live TV record. In that if you have to restart record services it would check to see if an existing .mpg exists for the recording and if so add a -1, -2, etc to the show to be recorded.
There are times when a reboot is needed for some (dumb) reason and if you don't remember before rebooting to rename a recording that is in progress you end up cursing a lot.
Worse yet is if you forget to rename and two days later sit down with your wife/girlfriend to watch the show she just loves and find there is only 8 minuets of the end.
