I have the Pixelview playtv@p7000 tuner card made by Prolink but I can not get it to work on GB-PVR, I keep getting the error 'cannot connect pins'
Is there a fix for this or is the card not supported?
ok ive got an assignment due for uni, its all done in java (which i havent used in a while). im having issues with eclipse (for some reason it doesnt like Vector<Object>), anyway after my love affair with vs.net, well is there a ide that you lets you create a JFrame by dragging and dropping ? (the assignment is on Java RMI, and well nothing to do with JFrames or anything, you just need to create a frame, and well, ive forgotten java (my borderlayout (or whatever its called) is giving me issues, this isnt the area i should be spending my time on, and well its taking far too long.). i know theres a lot of java programmers here, hopefully you all use an ide (and not TextPad/NotePad) just wondering if there was anythign out there like this for java?
oh the problem im having is the last control i add to the contentPane
is stretched to the full size of the frame, i init every control with the basic code

like name will be fine, but lastname is stretched to the full frame size
eg

txtLastName bounds for some reason is changed to (0,0,350,350);
any help would be appreciated (yeah its nothign to do with gbpvr, but oh well).
Is there a command line option to start gb-pvr in windowed or fullscreen mode? I'm using three different configurations to startup the program.
1. Minimized (windowed) on primary monitor w/350 hardware output.
2. Minimized (windowed) on primary monitor w/software output, w/full-screen overlay mirror on secondary monitor (TV).
3. Normal (fullscreen) on TV (TV set to primary, LCD set to off) w/software ouput.
The first setting is when I'm feeling confident the 350 drivers won't lockup on me. :o The second setting is when I want to use the program to watch livetv or a recording on the TV, and have the PC usuable as the primary monitor (one problem with this mode is only video is mirrored on the TV, not the gb-pvr menu and overlays, but I don't know a way around that). The third setting is when I can't afford the 350 output to crash and use software rendering, and when watching DVD's through gb-pvr.
I'm currently using three batch files that overwrite the config.xml file with one of the three predefined .xml files, and then starts gb-pvr with Ultramon to set my display priorities. I've searched the forums, but can't find a command line option to start the program in fullscreen or windowed mode. Is this possible at this time?
I cannot get the Audio to playback through the MVP on my TV when playing video files from the GBPVR video Library. I used DVD2MPEG to create copies of my DVDS on my computer, and I can play them back fine with Audio on my computer, However I do not get any audio , only video, when playing them back through the MVP on my TV. I have tried virtually every combination of Software MPEG2 Playback Audio Decoders and Renderers in the GBPVR config. Has anyone ever seen this before? Does anyone have any ideas? I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks In Advance.
Hi just installed GBPVR with software recorder plugin. the capture card is a PCI card - pinnacle PCTV. I cant get live tv to work. error msg Object reference not set to an instance of an object. I dont know if this is the right log: (had to remove the first few lines too long to fit in)
