Installing Plugins

Hello,
I have tried to install plugins using the instructions and have failed miserably. I do not see the buttons on the front page. Can Someone lead me through the process please. Thanks ksrao

What are the plugins you are trying to install? On what bacground i.e. blue, mce, tivoskin.....?

This is assuming youre using Windows XP and gbpvr is located in the default directories.
Download from http://www.bladerhq.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...eoArchiver. Open and extract does not matter where. Click through all of the folders until you hit gbpvr, click once more and you should see folders with names like Jeff, media, plugins etc..... copy jeff to C:\Program Files\devnz Open up media and copy genre icons into the media folder in C:\Program Files\devnz\media Open plugins and copy video archiver.dll to C:\Program Files\devnz\plugins Open up skin and open blue then copy archive to C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\blue Do the same for common dialogs open main menu and copy skin.xml to C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\Blue\main menu open panals and copy vapanel.xml to C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\Blue\panels Copy teh rest of the stuff such as gettv info and dvd info editor and post update epg to C:\Program Files\devnz Sorry for any mispellings this is the most Ive typed in a while. Thanks for the quick reply. I have followed it but still do not see the Video Archiver button in the main menu. I will redo it later today and come back to you.

you may want to uninstall gbpvr then delete C:\Program Files\devnz\. Then download the most current version and follow my guide again.

If you look in your gbpvr.exe.log file (which will be in your main GBPVR directory). The will probably some osrt of error listed there that explains what the problem is.
Also, did you run the config application after installing the plug-in and select it from the menu? You should also click the settings button to configure the plug-in before trying to use it. If you have prorblems you can post your gbpvr.exe.log file here or send me an email. Jeff
