- Fixed a bug which could cause loss of audio when you use FF. Also added multi-speed FF for VMR7/VMR9/Overlay (press multiple times for x2, x4, x6).
- When scanning for DVB channels, GB-PVR will try to guess at a channel mapping for you based on channel names. This may save some time for people with lots of channels.
- Fixed a bug that could cause the wrong DVD to play if you have multiple DVD drives (including virtual ones with Daemon tools).
- Added a setting <RecycleUSBUIRT> which may help users that have problems with the USB-UIRT stopping work after a period of time.

I have installed a MVP and it's working great. The only thing is that when i switch on the MVP it's connecting to the server and starting on the tv in 16:9 mode, I have to set it back to 4:3 manualy. Is there a sollution to this.

We need something like Bugzilla so we can keep track of features, requests and bugs. Not just of things in gbpvr but mainly the plugins. Lots of people have ideas and I am very good about forgetting to implement them till somebody reminds me. Maybe a product of kids not sure...

I keep writing ideas down on paper and lose them.

Is anyone familiar with setting up a bugzilla account. Bandwidth should not be that high.

I tried installing the MyVideos plug and, after fixing the skin file to uncomment out the <DrawImage filename="@Poster" loc="30,315" size="160,145"/> lines, I ran the plug. My machine went to 100% CPU utilization and memory usage of GBPVR started to grow. After 7 minutes or so I was at 860MB of memory being used by GBPVR (I have 1GB physical memory in my machine). At that point the program ran out of memory and died. My gbpvr.exe.log file follows.

Hi I have been ussing my GBPVR for a couple of days now and had been noticing a problem but finnally pinpointed the cause. When shows are scheduled back to back the padding creates a confict and my PVR freezes and I have to ctrl+alt+del to end gbpvr because its not responding. I can fix it by removing the padding all together to avoid posible conflicts. Is this normal or do you guys have a work around for this?

Is anyone else running into a problem with gbpvr.exe and the recording service chewing up memory? Mine sure are.

When I first launch gbpvr.exe it takes up somewhere around 80 meg of memory. However, after it'd had been running a few days it was taking up 200 meg. Last night I noticed the recording service was taking up a whole bunch of memory too. When I first looked it was using around 115 meg of memory, even though there were no recordings in progress. I restarted the service and found it settled down to about 28 megs of memory.

Is anyone else having the same trouble? I'm using the most recent build.

I set up a PVR-350 system for my daughter. Yesterday a couple shows did not record as scheduled. The recording service showed it still as sleeping.

We restarted the computer and it now works. I've attached the logs. At the end of recordingservice log #2 there is:

Caught unexpected exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

The 2 shows scheduled after that did not record. It looks like the log stops there and does not start again till after the reboot.

Any ideas on what may have happened and how to prevent it? Obviously when you schedule something you want a lot of confidence that it will get recorded.

I know I have seen this post before but I cannot find it. In the first post I rember the fix was to go into the Registry, but I cannot remember what to change. Does anyone remember?

Hello Everyone.

I just bought the TV402U PAL version here in the Netehrlands.
The WINDVR 5 software that is bundeled with the device is extremly slow and uses a lot of CPU power.
I have tried a few PVR utilities but GB-PVR beats them all.
I only have two small issues and I am hoping to resolve those with the help of this forum.

1. When chosing a recroding profile is there a way that I can select MP3 128 bit audio? Currently the only option I get is MP2 224bit.

2. I am trying to record multiple TV shows on different channels
using the TVGUIDE. All recordings are scheuled at a different time and a different channel. (e.g. no recording conflicts)
The first show is recorded OK using the correct channel.

But all of the following recordings, even if they are on a different channel, always record using the same channel number as the first recroding.

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if there's anyway to get gbpvr to turn on your pc at certain times, or to wake it up from standby ?

I read during config that it can power on my pc to update channels at 3am, so I guess this isn't a totally stupid request...but I could be wrong on course I suppose you could always set your pc to hibernate after x number of minutes inactivity, and GBPVR should wake it up ?

Just wondered if anyone had tried it, or knew of a better way- I'm looking at keeping my pc off as much as possible, as it's a noisy swine and no amount of sound proofing is improving the issue !
