  Problems with Live TV
Posted by: Chris Reynolds - 2005-02-05, 08:07 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

Hello all,

Having got GBPVR working with the MediaCenter 300i I am now having problems. When watching Live TV I use the up arrow key to change channel and an ActiveMovie window appears with a oddly pixellated TV picture. Its a fascinating visual effect but not really what I'm after. Does anyone have an idea what to fiddle with?

Currently loving the MyPictures plugin - thanks

Regards

Chris

  Sleep Mode

A plugin that allows you to set a sleep timer where after a specified time, the unit will shut off... maybe even have an option to have that as the default in case you leave for the weekend and forget to turn off the unit [Image: smile.gif]

Audio no video - gray bars?
Posted by: slothmoose - 2005-02-05, 06:46 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

I recently recorded a program and got a weird capture.  I can hear the audio fine, but no video can be seen.  Video shows as a set pattern of fixed gray bars and boxes.  Then a another twist, a couple of times spread through-out the capture there is visible video from a few commercials.  Ideas? Corrupt file?  All my other captures work/view fine so it doesn't seem to be a codec issue.
Thanks, EJ

Trying to open Live TV and I get an error:

I am using a AverMedia M150 card that has been tested in a different computer and worked perfectly with GBPVR.

Posted by: kovals - 2005-02-05, 12:39 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

I have the PVR250 card and i want to know what should i do in order to see all the available channeks through the Live TV option of the program.

In the TV2000 program that came with the card i can see all the channels.

Where in the config area should i look in order to set this correctly?

Thanks.

  Fast find

Great plugin - use it a lot, even the wife and daughter do so it must be easy. I've been doing some bug hunting and came across the following:

1. When setting a show to record. The record screen comes up with the show and Schedule/Exit. Pressing the Blue button return the "focus" to the underlying display but leaves the recording screen on top.

2. After typing some search text and then pressing Yellow to cycle, the found list is not updated by the search text (Not sure if this is a support or wishlist comment)

Did I mention that it's an excellent plugin...
