What's the best way to build one of these, just basic so i can understand how it works. What do i need, such as do i need to create new class for pluginhelper, imenu and what else. This plugin stuff is hard for beginners. Videos is my primary things so if i could learn this, i am primarly interested only in this plugin for now..
First off... Â Sub, damn man, awesome software... Â and what's really awesome, FIRST install, first try, everything worked for me... Â I'm amazed!
Okay, to my problem... Â I hit the fast forward button... everything speeds up... I hit play, and all of a sudden, a different part of the show is on... Â I hit the skip back button, at 30 seconds a pop, and I go back almost 2 minutes till I'm where I was.
I haven't been able to deduce if this happens all the time, if the jump forward is the same amount all the time or what. Â Has this happened to anyone else?
I guess I'm throwing this out to get some feedback and make it known... Â I'll drop more info in this message when I get some more tests run.
I just got a pvr-150 and have just installed gb-pvr after trying wintv2k, beyondtv, and windvr. I set up the config as described in the quick start link at left and when i restart the service I get a message saying "This system does not appear to support VMR9. Please try a different renderer." please advise...
Hey, i would really like to see support for sony's card which comes in alot of their machines now... Their current recording software is complete crap (gigapocket) and it would really be great to not have to buy a new tuner just for software. I think sony makes this card them selves, or its some very small company, as when i look at the card itself, no real info is listed other then that the model is ENX-15.... and it has a C-Cube ZiVA-3 MPEG-2 decoder chip. If this is already availible, can someone please tell me the settings i should use?

I've got the tv-out from my videocard connected to the s-video input om my tunercard.
I've been playing around a bit with this.. but I still can't figure out a way to view the s-video input from my hauppage350 card in GB-PVR :x (i really want to watch some divx/xvid's aswell )
it works in the winTV software from hauppage.
anyone got any clue how i can fix this to work with GB-PVR?
XRecord (just downloaded and installed) shows up nice. But no matter which menu-button I'm activating it always shows the "Ready" screen page.
What can be wrong?
[UPDATE]
The "free space" button generates an error when clicked on:
<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">Error: COM object that has been separated from its underlying RCW can not be used[/QUOTE]
With my hand on my heart and the other on the bible can I assure you that neither me or my family have any whatsoever habits on separating thos poor COMs from their so beloved underlying RCWs. ;-)

I'm remote controlling my HTPC right now, and found out that there's no way back from the FastFind plugin bundlex with XRecord. The escape key doesn't work and there's no "Main menu" button. I'm a bit stucked so to say, do I really need to restart GB-PVR?
Has anyone had an issue that when you try to change a channel, it just brings you back to the menu? If so, is there a resolution to the problem?
If you haven't guessed, I and another person I recommended the software to are having the same issue. When you go to LiveTV, and try to switch a channel, it will switch, hiccup a little, then goes back to the menu.
my pvr 150 remote does not work with the gbpvr, and i want to know is it something that i'm doing wrong or setting it up somehow? it works with my hauppauge software and my windows media player, but when i fire up gbpvr, it does not recognize the remote's commands? is there any thing i can do, or is it something that our good friend sub will have to write into the code?
