when starting GBPVR.exe, the 'System' task of my W2kSP4 system consumes about 100% CPU time.

Hi sub,

when starting GBPVR.exe from my user account without admin privileges, I get the message: No available PVR350 was detected in the system. When running it as admin, it works.

In .227 this was no problem.

My server whith my PVR250 is places in my basement, so I'm depending on webscheduling via my laptop.

No problem whith the TV-guide or Manage recordings - but I'm not able to record via the webinterface, when the popup comes and I click "Record this episode" I get this message (did it on the server to get the right errormessage):

Since upgrading to the latest version I've run into two problems:

- The DVD button has disappeared from the main menu. I've made sure that 'Show DVD Button' is checked in the config application, and has tried both the Blue and Flat Blue skins.

- LiveTV freezes every 30 minutes or so, while GBPVR stops responding. I have the bitrate for LiveTV set to 7500 (constant).

I use a Hauppauge PVR250 and upgraded directly from the previous version (0.22).

I updated gbpvr by installing over the top. I had 2 Custom tasks on the Plugins page, these are showing on the new version config screen but the 'Add' 'Edit' & 'Remove' Buttons do nothing.

hey i want a few people to test out this ui ive done for my videos, i want to get this right since i will be using the same interface for a few more plugins.  its only an alpha release, and i havent yet add clickable regions on theh fill lists (is every where else thou).  only things you can do at the moment is play dvds, rip to iso, dvd-to-dvd copy, 3 different file views, sort files based on date, name, type and size; you can use folder.jpg/folder.png in icon and big icon view.  it will search gbpvr\media\my videos\[filename -minus extension].jpg for a image to display a movie poster etc for file (im still working on this to make download these things automatically).  um yeah, any skin developer, fini especially can you test this out, and see if you need any more tags in the skin file.  its tried to put as much as possible in the skin file (around 120lines i think).

heres a link its 457kb which contains the skin test i made just dump that folder into the skin you are using to test it out (havent done the blue skin yet) and just edit that skin to get the basic idea.

enjoy, oh yeah remember its an alpha (i want to put a lot more features into it, just want to get this stuff right now before i move on)

NOTE: the dvd ripper rips to iso and you must specify a directory to do this to, but this directory must also contain directories it works on this theory \DVDs\Genre so \DVDs\Comedy \DVDs\Action etc.

Almost 50% of the time when I click the Record button in the TV Guide, the GBPVR app disappears and the MediaMVP's 'Contacting Servers' message comes up. I have to then walk over to my computer and restart the GBPVR MediaMVP Server. I don't know why this happens and if it has something to do with the firewall on my router, I don't know how to fix it. I have Windows XP SP2 with the Firewall off and a Belkin Network Router (with a firewall).
