Anyone ever have problems not being able to fast forward or rewind? I paused a live show, but was unable to skip forward or backwards using the remote or keyboard.
Also, is there any way to search this forum for old posts??
I was watching live TV and there was upcoming recording. At the time the recording was supposed to start the pvr350 tv out froze. I guess internally it changed the channel and started recording. Shouldn't the tv out show the main menu ? Is this a known issue in gbpvr ?
this is a big wish to the developer who made the dvd ripper (im not sure who made it, since theres no credit on the plugin page) but i was looking at the code, and at dvd decrypter and it seems possible (easyish for the person who actually made the ripper plugin) to add the ability to burn a ripped dvd iso to a dvd. since dvd+9r (dual layer) are common now, theres no problems with the dvd size. i tried having a go at it but got confused with the send commands to the dvddecrypter, and thought the author might be able to do this easily. so please please please consider doing this.
I've got GBPVR installed fine, ran through all the settings preferences to get my PVR-350 working, but I can't seem to get the Hauppage Remote to work at all. I left the Default (Hauppage) setting in Config under the Misc tab for "Remote Control Type" and then even tried checking the "Use direct access..." box since I don't see IR.EXE running as a task.
Should I see something in device manager indicating that the IR hardware is recognized? I downloaded the latest drivers from Hauppage when installing just now... didn't even use the CD that came with it. Everything else is working fine with channel detection and playback through the PVR-350's video out.
That just about says it. I was recording at 720x480 and realized I didn't need it that high, so I tried to change the recording resolution to 320x240. Now all my recordings are only the top half of the screen. Any ideas?
Iâm having a #### of a time getting it to put the DVDâs in the right location.
For instance if I tell it I want it to go to F:\DVD then it puts it creats a directory in the rout of F: starting with DVD. For example F:\DVDNEW_RIPPED_DVD_HERE
If I want it in the DVD directory I have to make a NOTHER directory in there then it will rip it to F:\DVD
For example.
I say put it in F:\DVD\DVDS_GO_HERE. Then it will put it in F:\DVD and rip it to a new directory called DVDS_GO_HERE_NEW_RIPPED_DVD
This has been the case for some time now, since previous versions of GB-PVR, but I haven't got round to mentioning anything, and I don't have any clue if it's just me but I don't seem to be able to cancel recordings once scheduled, from either the TV Guide or the Recordings window.
Anyone else get/find a fix for this? Or just me?

Just a little'en! Because sometimes there are groups of channels with no guide information (like radio stations in UK), it would be 1000x nicer if the box with the name/pic of the channel was highlighted, maybe outlined as you scroll up and down, so you know which one you're on!
