When the no. of the epsiode is also given in the series name (e.g. "King Of Queens Epsiode 5" instead of just "King Of Queens&quot it is not possible to shedule the whole season for recording, as only "King Of Queens Epsiode 5" would match.
What can I do to setup a season recod timer that matches "King Of Queens" only, as I want to record all Seasons of this Season, not just episode 5 and its recurrences.

BTW, I'am using XMLTV and the german tvtoday plugin to get the EPG informatons.

hm, as long as no one gives me a hint how to solve that, i'll cut of the extra info in XMLTV file with this command (right after my daily update of XMLTV):

cat temp.xml|sed -e"s/ [1234567890]*. Teil//i" > a.xml

So here it goes, i just instal GB_PVR on my laptop, with a hauppaugge tvr2 usb, i run the set up soft, get the channel, and restart the computer, but when i try to watch the tv live the soft freeze and don't respond anymore.... should i unstal the win tv soft, or where it come from, please tell, i can't take it anymore

I am trying to make what I thought was small amendment to the jukebox plugin so that it will display a deafult image if no image is available in the current folder.

I want to read the variable userDir defined in the class FileSelectionTask from the function render in the class CurrentTrackTask , but I have no idea how to do it.

I have treid things like FileSelectionTask.userDir
or creating public static string topMusicDir in the FileSelectionTask and copying userDir to it.

then referencing topMusicDir or FileSelctionTask.topMusicDir from the other class

but nothing seems to give me the contents of the variable

I have stumbled in to a problem...

In my upcoming AlbumPlayer plugin (which is based on the Jukebox plugin) I want to force a &quot;Render&quot; of the currently playing list. With MediaMVP is not a good thing to use the &quot;Continuously update...&quot; setting since the plugin gets extremely slow...

Anyway, in the jukebox plugin you press the green key on the remote to update/view the currently playing list (queue) which causes the screen to update. I want to do the same when pressing Skip/Previous on the remote (switch songs in playlist). I found this code:

Aha, I figured. If I only added the Skip/Previous keys here and returned &quot;true&quot; if they were pressed it should render automatically (read the comments).

But which keys do I use? I have tried with Keys.MediaNextTrack and Keys.MediaPreviousTrack without result...

It would be awesome to get a keylist for the Media MVP remote and which key definition in the code that match a certain key. Anyone done this?

I've been messing around with different recording sources to test different TV listings.
But when I delete them (or edit them) and click on &quot;ok&quot; it seems to hav done the job. But when I start GB-PVR again then I notice nothing has changed, go back to Config and see that everything is still the same?

BTW, I do realize that I do a lot of postings here, but I'm still in learning mode.

I use my AVIA disk to calibrate my standalone DVD/TV ...etc.
But in GB-PVR (and HTPC) in general, things tend to be more complex:

1- Capture Calibration: How to calibrate how my PVR-250 card captures color? What is software to use to change those setting? If it is the driver, how can I call it? From Control Panel?

2- Playback calibration, Part1 : Can I just plug my AVIA (or burn an ISO of AVIA) and play it back using GB-PVR to calibrate brightness/contrast/color, and this is by changing the settings on my TV?

3- Playback calibration, Part2: Video Card settings calibration? How to do?
I believe that the video card settings should be calibrated too, but how? What tool to use?

Too complex for me to think about, so if anybody know how, or a link that explains it, that would be appreciated

What is the best order to do the three steps listed above?

Just got it all working nicely from a Dell PC, using the WinTV-PVR250, GB-PVR, across to the MVP and into a TV from there.

Recorded a prgram as well - excellent.  Then my wife watched some real TV (on the TV).  After the show, I went back to the MVP menu, but the whole thing had hung.  I had to reboot the MVP twice before it would start up again properly...happened quite a few times since then as well.

Any ideas?

Is it possible to filter directory listings based on extensions before displaying? So I could tell it only show me .avi's and .mpg's?

So how important is a video card (like a geforce 3 , vodoo etc) in a PVR when streaming out to the MVP?

Im having issues getting the dvdlist progto work. The html page has javascript errors.

Does the Movie List let you start playing the selected movie?
