I have my Channel list populated fine. It looks like they are all mapped right (I opened bulk map, and each channel is mapped correctly to it's XMLTV channel). But when I go to the guide, every channel shows (no show details).
Now here's the weird part. If I open each channels details, and then (without changing anything) click OK and do an update EPG... it shows up just fine.
I've looked at my m3u and xmltv files, and the tvg-id doesn't match, but the group title does? And it DOES seem to match everything correctly in the channels page on settings, so It's obviously doing it's job... So i'm a little confused as to what's going on.
I've been running kodi and with a media portal backend and was having stability issues so I switch the backend to nextpvr, it's running fine but there's a few things I really miss with the MP setup. In media portal the EPG data showed the original air date, this is so useful. I found the "new" flag but it's just not the same and there's no indication of "new" on the data viewing / watching via kodi which I do. Is there a way to get the original air date, I'm using schedules direct via the native nextpvr client built in. The second thing and I'm not sure if this would be the kodie backend client or nextpvr but In kodi when I'd view my recordings while using MP it would show the disk size and usable space left for recording disk in the lower right hand corner. This was also very useful because it helped keep tabs on recording space used and space left. And, the last thing...recording retention time. Is there a way to set retention time or a trigger like once it's watched to delete it?

If your system consists of Kodi using NextPVR as the live TV backend it may have been broken after the latest Win10 update. They have now added automatic file compression that will break your live TV setup if any of the user folders have been compressed. There are two blue arrows that will show on all of the folders that have been compressed.
Follow this link to learn how to identify files that have been compressed and how to uncompress them. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2634...ml#option2
Once you have uncompressed all your user folders that relate to Kodi or NextPVR or even WinTV if you are using a Colossus 2 follow this link for the instructions to turn off the automatic file compression feature in win10: https://www.technipages.com/disable-wind...ompression
I just switched my knew4v5 (latest version 2.6.6) back to testing against my production v4 server. And now the path substitution to get it to use SMB to access the files directly (and get the .edl file) is no longer working. I know that we had gotten it working earlier. And I'm not seeing anything obvious in the log other than the "not found" and fall back to using HTTP streaming:

Is there a way to specify a local XML file as the guide source when importing channels for an IPTV device.
I tried a couple of variations for a local file URL without any success.
Hi, I downloaded NextPVR on Google Play Store.
I clicked on the "NPVR" icon and this text appeared "select a server from list" and nothing happened still try to find server.
Can you please help me to know how to imput server or go on the setting section because and I don't see any menu?
Thank you
I previously spent a lot of time cleaning up channels and switching over my EPG to Schedules Direct.
Must I redo all that work now or is there some way (DB change perhaps) I can just insert my new username?
Hey all,
I've been having random recording issues as of late. At very random times, some of my recordings seem to have an error. When viewing an hour long recording through Plex, it shows up as over 20+ hours in length. Same if I were to open the video on the PC. Meanwhile, File Explorer will show the exact file as under an hour. Skipping ahead/back on the video throws the video out of whack as well.
I'm using IPTV to view which have had no connection issues and the source is flawless.
