Has Zap2it committed to providing free listings on an ongoing basis, or will they turn around at some point and begin charging members for the service?
the new version is very great. Today I've spent 4 hours to configurate my system and gbpvr with all the plugins.
Very fine!
Now I've got a new xmltv-creator (tvmovie) and had to delete all the old channels in den capture source.
I tried to remove the complete capture source and made a new.
Now when I try to see live-TV I get the following error:
"Failed to communicate with the GB-PVR Recording Service..."
In the configuration tool, the capture source is still listet. After re-deleting it, it comes back.
Is there any way to repare this without a complete reinstallation ?

To get GB-PVR working with the AverMedia M150, you'll need to replace the existing M150 section of direct.ini with the following.

Couple of ideas - not sure if anyone has suggested them previously . I currently also run myhtpc on one TV AV channel and GB-PVR over the other (using the 350 Tv Out). In myHTPC I've set up a DVD ripping module. I was thinking it would be a good idea to be able to do 1 step DVD ripping or transcoding via a plugin. There are a couple of programs that can be controlled via the command line (maybe even use an AutoGK type setup to go straight to DivX).
An alternative Idea would be to use something like DVD Decrypter to rip a DVD to the HD (Just take the main movie), and then convert to an MPEG2 file, that way it could be played through the TV out of the 350.
Anyway - hopefully not too rambling.
When I hit the TV Guide button, there is no notification that GBPVR is doing something. Mine takes 30 seconds to get going. If the button lit up (change another colour) until the guide came up, i'd know it was busy doing something. Now I have to rely on my HD light.
I just set the tv guide up using zap2it and I am able to get the tv guide from my provider (comcast in california). however, the channel line up is right, the programs are right but everything is one hour early .... I check directly in zap2it and it is fine there ....
Would it be possible to read and use ID3v2 tags as well as ID3v1 when in Music Library etc. It looks like GBPVR is only reading v1 tags, sorry if I've got this wrong. My music colllection seems to have a mix of tags, they all have v2, but many don't have v1 present and therefore the tag information is not picked up and just the file name is shown.
Failing that can anyone recommend a (free) way of bulk copying v2 to v1 tags for files in multiple directories, I've got about 5000 tracks in 600 odd directories to go through and I don't want to do it manually using WinAmp for example.
