I usually don't immediately install new versions of anything, but did install the new NextPVR on my "test" machine yesterday. Today was my 1st chance to actually take a look at it.
I of course could supply the full debug log, but I think this little piece tells the story. The NextPVR client for Kodi 2.4.13 does not load on my Kodi 17.6 running windows 10 and Amber skin. Also when I go to Addons, it says "Addon couldn't be loaded. An unknown error has occurred."
Is there a new PVR client for Kodi that is needed with this latest version of NextPvr?

I just did a Windows 10 Repair Install and saw this in the event logs

"The NPVR Recording Service service is marked as an interactive service. However, the system is configured to not allow interactive services. This service may not function properly."

Checked an old thread which suggests the DWORD NoInteractiveServices should be set at 0? Mine is currently 1.

Is this 0 value still correct in NextPVR?

(I didn't change anything this was a recent new install).

This is a fairly minor release, rolling the patches posted for 4.2.3 into the main release, plus a couple of other minor fixes and improvements.

Being able to add "Amazon Prime", "Netflix", "Britbox", etc, websites to an addon that would let you pick the service from within NextPVR (via remote), and able to play the shows full screen. This way, when there is nothing worthwhile on regular TV (which happens a lot), we can resort to streaming via this addon. I don't want/care for Kodi, would rather keep NextPVR as the main GUI as it's "become familiar" to the rest of the family.

A while ago, I mentioned that I was seeing a "blank" screen and lately it's a "no signal" while NextPVR is going, the machine is set to sleep but not the display (set to Never), have tried every output method known to NextPVR, made no difference, what happens is, if I pause a recording, a few seconds later when the lower third info window drops out of the way, it advances 1 frame (in most cases you see the picture move). Using the Video section to play back videos also has this same effect. The same situation happens when the machine is brought out of sleep and the TV is turned on, the TV reports "no signal", until I push a key on the remote that causes a draw update on-screen (while in the menu), then the picture returns.

Any possibility to have an "Always On Top" option to enforce keeping NextPVR "active and on top", as sometimes on boot (set to start with the computer), the start bar shows up over it and it's unresponsive to the remote.

Also, if the TV is turned off during playback, causes massive grief with the playback, it causes it to show in a small area in the top right corner of the screen (as if the playback defaulted to 1024x768 or something tiny). Its a downside of pausing a show then grabbing food, coming back to find someone turned the TV "ON" thinking it was off when in fact, they turned it off. Turning it back on, renders the playback stopped and playing it again with a resume puts it into that small area, until you stop it again and then play again. Almost as if it's receiving the screen dimension changes too late.

I have old files recorded by NPVR not present in the DB (as recorded). Meaning not seen by AppleTV Apps neither by WEB interface.
I would like to enter back te ts file in the DB, maybe with NscriptHelper

I have just moved to NextPVR from Windows Media Centre. When I scan for channels they appear numbered 1 to 43, but the numbers don't relate to the channel names, eg "channel 7" appears as number 1. However, WMC when it scanned allocated numbers that related to the channel number/names, eg "Channel 7" is channel number 7. My TV does the same. Is there a way to allocate channel numbers that relate to channel numbers/names? I know I can edit each channel, but that's quite onerous.

I'm new to Nextpvr so please be patient. I use Nextpvr to record my shows on Vader Streams for the last couple of months. The last 3 days my TV Guide shows "No Show Details" for all my channels. Looked on this forum and could not find any related subjects. Not sure if I did something wrong or the TV Guide is down. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sub, it would be really useful to allow multiple IPTV device instances to make it easier to add and delete multiple providers and for me to allow the proper prioritization of channels.

In addition I hope that NextPVR will allow a configurable limit on how many channels each IPTV device can tune simultaneously.

1)Just learned that there is a 25MB limit for ALL post attachments. Does deleting past attachments break the links from the posts to which they were attached?

2) How does one get the nicely formatted quotes from other posts into a new post?
