Good day...I am attempting to streamline my group presentation from this

to this

which is more manageable since there is limited space at the top of NPVR when clicking on "Groups". I believe there is a problem however, the group "ATSC" which is at the top I have renamed 3 times now to read "LOCAL Channels" and on restart of NPVR, the "ATSC Channels" comes back every time. As you can see on the second pic both ATSC and LOCAL are presented. The same holds true for "IPTV Channels" which I have renamed to "ALL Channels" and it too reverts itself to the original "IPTV Channels".
Everything was working just fine, but Comcast was making lineup changes, so I thought I'd clean things up a bit. So I deleted my old device scan and my channels. Then, I re-scanned the 6 tuners on the Ceton card. The first tuner (#6) took about 5-10 seconds. Then on to copying the configuration from #6 to #5 as usual. But, that took 90 seconds (copying was spozed to be faster). I continued, and each tuner took about 90 seconds to copy. Then, I got an EPG from Schedules Direct, and attempted to record/watch. Nuthin..... a look at the Ceton log indicates the problem is related to QAM channels.
So, I'm wondering... was there some change in that scan/copy code over the last couple of updates, that might have broken it? Or, did I screw it up somehow. I can't view or record anything now.
Please help...
hmmm, tried to import a recording, and noticed none of my recent files have the ntfs alternate stream info anymore...what happened?
how am i to import a recording that has only a .xml file? why were those changed from the same as the ntfs file? makes it hard to reconstruct data..
i don't remember that mentioned in release notes..
used to be easy as pie to import missing/orphaned files, now i really don't know where to start..
i tried xml import and .ts import, neither work as no ntfs stream and the weird format of .xml file.
is there a setting to change the ntfs alt stream writing?
seems sometime around last august they quit working for me..
is there a script we can fix the ntfs streams with correct data with?
is there a list of the correct data that is supposed to be in ntfs stream for proper import?
I have recently been having problems with scheduled recordings stopping abruptly. The most recent was "The Neighborhood" on 2/11/19 at 1900 (7pm). This has been an ongoing problem the past few weeks. I thought maybe there was a corrupted file, so I uninstalled NextPVR, removed the folder c:\users\public\npvr directory, and the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\NPVR registry key. I did a new install and did a trial of a few shows, 3 of which were at the the same time, and one immediately following one of the shows. It worked fine. But then tonight, the recording of "The Neighborhood" stopped abruptly after about 2 minutes. I have almost 400 GB available on the hard drive so I know space is not the issue. I have attached the logs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kodi has a feature called tempo that allows playing videos at accelerated speed meaning that play is typically 1.1 to 1.5 times faster and it works pretty well. I am thinking of replacing FF and RW keys with the tempo change keys. Does anyone think that will cause a problem for their use?
G'day... So I have more than 1 EPG from various suppliers and I would like to know if there is a way to combine the EPG's into 1 EPG. Thank you. Cheers!!
I stuck most of the info in the header. I just installed NextPVR on Windows 10 using the Ceton InfiniTV ETH6. It detected the tuners properly, and I was able to tune to many of the network channels, including History TV and Discovery. But when I try to access other channels, like Food Network, Next PVR locks up completely.
As I changed channels, I checked the ETH 6's built in web page, and when the tuner was tuned to a channel that was "Copy Protection: Copy Control Information: "Copy Free" (00)", things would lock, but when it was "Copy Protection: Free", things worked really well.
Am I missing something in a configuration or using the wrong Codec? (LAV)
About two weeks ago, I had to change my HDHomeRun Prime device. My original suffered an untimely premature death.
Originally, recordings worked just fine, but all last week, only two shows recorded where the majority failed with the following error:
Quote:***No Errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal
I can watch live TV just fine, but the recordings are not working. I poked around in the settings and didn't see anything obvious. I searched the error on this site and found a few others who had reported this in the past. One was firewall related another was drive space related. Neither of which would cause this error for me. If it were firewall, or drive space related, then all recordings would fail, not just a majority of recordings.
The last time there were any recordings was February 7th. I attached the logs.
I scheduled a new recording for today, but I'm not at the location and can't monitor it. I'll have to go the next day to see if it failed or succeeded. But hopefully you can spot something in the attached logs.
Hey first of all, I am so grateful for this program and the active support provided. It's been flawless for me for years.
That said, I'm having an issue with some recordings where they begin but then partway through data just stops being delivered. The service appears to still be running and the log even shows when the tuner gets released at the proper time. Recording id 21757 in my nrecord.log.2 is an example. I think this is only happens with long recordings (>2 hours, just a guess). FWIW I don't think this was an issue in prior versions. Any help is greatly appreciated.
PS I had to delete the npvr.log.3 and web.log.3 which didn't cover the time of interest due to size restrictions.
I know I have done this before but how do I change a TV channel to radio without editing the database? I thought it was under Details but it is not there.
