I have been having problems with NPVR crashing when choosing to play a part watched program and choosing to resume. This causes NPVR to stop responding and I have to kill it from the task manager. Did see a previous post that someone had something similar a fixed it by using a different a decoder so installed SAF to give me so more choice but have not solved the problem with the options I have tried. Some times it works some times crashes.
Whilst testing I had 2 successful resumes and then a crash so though this would be a good log capture so have attached them. The program I was testing with is Back in Time for the Factory
Any guidance from deciphering the logs would be much appreciated.
I'm a Emby/Plex user. I presently have multiple Primes, single Quatro, IPTV m3us setup in Emby which I use for DVR.
I've played with NextPVR and also with the Emby Plugin for it and have no problem with the general setup or using this.
However, the reason I would like to use NextPVR is for Multi Record.
I've setup the Quatro and just using NextPVR (no Emby integration) I can't seem to get this to use one tuner for multiple channels.
I've tried for example watching both 3.1 & 3.1 as well as 10.1 & 10.2, 29.1 & 29.2 etc. Every time the Quatro show two different tuners being used.
What am I missing in my setup to get Multi Record to work?
Also has Multi Record ever been added for the Prime?
I have a tv tuner And when i try to do a channel search (My Dvr is outpitting on channel 60) It cant find anything. My dvr is a dish network vip722k dvr. i have my tuner hokked into where the outside jack for tv2 should go.
On my pc, epg guide doesn't work. So, I am unable to schedule a recording from epg guide, and I'm forced to set a manual recording.
Unfortunately, the manual recording screen seems to show the channel list sequentially. In other words, since I have more than 500 channels, I have to click more than 500 times on the right icon to go to the last channel.
Is there any method to avoid this very very very frustrating situation?
My Schedules Direct password was a little simple as I set it years ago before these modern days filled with identity theft, etc. I changed it to something more secure but had to roll it back because it was not obvious to me how to update my Schedules Direct access token in NextPVR using the configuration menus. Is there an easy way to trigger a prompt to re-enter my Schedules Direct credentials that does not involve removing and re-adding channels/lineups?
I have been tinkering with HD HomeRun and NextPVR for a few months now and its been working great, however my usage is become more demanding with more shows now being recorded.
The problem i'm running into is pixelation when using all 4 turners on my HD HomeRun, its not the antenna as all channels have this problem but not when recording 2 tuners. I'm thinking it is the speed of my drives thats causing and wondering if its possible to split the recording to 2 drives to address this and possible HDD space limitations.
It's quite possible its not the hard drives and just aging hardware i'm using as my media backend do to the fact i'm also parallel processing comskip while its recording maxing my CPU.
Just done a fresh install of Windows 10 and NextPVR but can't get any live tv to work at all.
Logs attached.
Using a TBS quad DVB-S2 tuner and also tried IPTV streams.
The channels are picked up during the tuner scans and the EPG is populated.
When I try watch Live TV I see a â¦.please wait.... message and then it just goes back to the EPG screen.
I've tried changing decodes to LAV and also ffdshow.
Sorry if im missing something obvious but have been trying for hours now!! I have downloaded the nextpvr app on my T95z android box, when I open it it just says pick server from list but nothing comes up, I can add a server but dont know what to add?
