I've just started using NextPVR with Kodi 18, and cannot get it to display the Episode Title at all for Recorded TV episoded. Is this the right place to get it fixed?
Since the last couple of updates there has been a problem with the display of Closed Captions for Live TV and Recorded TV.
When a longish sentence is being spoken the caption (Subtitle) just flashes on the screen and is impossible to read.
When another character on the screen speaks straight after the first character, the text is a blue colour and is all pixillated. Also impossible to read.
I have tried all the options in Settings/ Decoders, to no avail.
I'm running the latest version of Next PVR and Windows 10, and have not installed any decoders other that the LAV filters that are installed by Next PVR. No other hardware has changed.
This has been happening for some time, but used to work perfectly.
The same Live TV and Recorded TV programs play in Emby Server perfectly, so it's not a biggie for me, but I just like thinks to work properly.
I have a Hauppaugh HVR 950Q USB ATSC tuner. I want to use it with my laptop in two different USA cities. I have scanned for channels in both locations. Both towns share two channel names (7.1, 7.2) but use different ATSC frequencies (7, 44). The last channel scan in city #2 failed to create channel entries for the 7.1 and 7.2 channels though I know for certain they exist as my TV easily finds them and they are listed in TitanTV.com's EPG. When I examine NPVR's tuner device list of channels, I see these use only the 44.1 and 44.2 frequencies, neither the 7.1, nor 7.2.
Is there a way to add the two missing channels without overwriting/deleting the existing two?
BTW, I use Schedules Direct for both cities and would like to sort all channels into two channel "groups" based upon the city.
I'm looking for source code for nLite that will compile (and run LoL) on ARM Linux (Armbian). If successful nLite can be run on cheap tv-boxes from China, like M8S, Beelink, MXQ Pro etc.
Can someone point me to the source download link?
G'day...the Guide was working just fine until today when I opened it and seen that nothing was populate from the nightly SD updates. Both the OTA and IPTV channel listings had indicated "no show details". I have included the log right after i hit the update EPG button. Hopefully this will give somebody a clue as to what happened. Thanks in advance. Cheers!
Hi, I've been having an issue the last few weeks with one particular series, Mayan's M.C. and it was driving me crazy trying to figure out the problem. I would see it recording the show, but the next day when I went to watch it, the show was missing. Finally after the 3rd time trying to re-record the show, I think I figured out the problem.
It seems because these latest episodes have extended characters in the show name, it can't record the show properly. Here's the log segment from the latest attempt:
It only happens on this series, and only happened on Episode 2 and 3, Episode 1 recorded fine. and of course when you look at the names of those 3 episodes:
I was running 4.11 still, but I upgraded to the latest, 4.2.2 because I saw some mention in the notes about a Unicode fix. however it doesn't seem to have helped this issue.
I've been experiencing a problem for a few weeks, and I just updated to 4.2.2 (180623) and the problem persists, so I figured I'd post here.
I want NextPVR to record every NFL Football game that airs on every channel. I set up a recurring recording to do that, but when two NFL Football games start at the same time, NextPVR will only record one of them!
Two games are airing at the same time right now. The Packers vs. Washington and the Bills vs. Vikings starting at noon CDT today. Despite my recurring recording that should grab all episodes on all channels, NextPVR is going to record the Bills vs. Vikings game, but it'll skip the Packers game. I've deleted and recreated the recording by selecting the Packers game in the tv guide and starting a recurring recording from there, but NextPVR decides to record the Bills game instead, perhaps because it's on a lower-number channel.
I looked at the pending recordings list, and it seems that it will record a game that starts at 3pm and another one that starts at 3:25pm the same day just fine. It only seems to be skipping one when they both start at the same instant. I've thought, maybe since there is only one recurring recording job set up, it'll just record one at a time. I've tried making two recurring recordings for "NFL Football" games, but then I would get two copies of most games.
I've attached my logs, I feel like I'm missing something obvious here and any advice is much appreciated!
Thank you,

Working with Windows 10 computer, HDHomerun connect duo, NextPvr (into Kodi). I set up an antenna in my attic and channels that previous indoor antenna pixelated where now coming in clear.
I recorded a couple of shows and there is pixelation in the recordings. Right now the only tuner in my house is the HDhomerun connect duo and am not using any thing else. Wanted to see if I am missing anything obvious.
