Hello everyone, Hope someone can assist me in this one. I am running Nextpvr on windows and was playing around with the f keys and now my nextpvr plays in full screen. I am trying to get back to a small popup window that I can change the size by extending the popup box by dragging a corner of the box.
Thank you,
Hi guys fresh install after a M/B failure and getting an error on seachlite plug in.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin but the error is persisting.

After I delete my IPTV device the settings show no groups and channels but the player shows a set of group that I don not recognise

After I restore the device the settings show my new set of channels and groups but the player shwos the ne channels and the unknown set of groups. What is going wrong here? How can I force the player to display the correct set of groups?
I've been having an ongoing issue with Kodi 18 and the NextPVR Addon which I'm hoping to assist in troubleshooting. I've raised a separate issue for Timeshift already so I'll take that out of this discussion.
In essence, whenever I watch LiveTV, after about 5 Seconds I seem to lose de-interlacing (screen flickers and then its de-interlaced) and I get frequent "Kodi Progress Bar" pop-ups as well. As per my Timeshift issue, If I rollback to 17.6, its stable,
but I'm keen to assist in seeing if this is my hardware configuration or something else.
I'm in Australia so using NextPVR on a ML10v2 HP Micrsoserver with an SSD for the Timeshift Folder.
I've got 3 different Systems,
2 x Phenom 9750 AMD Quads with AMD R7 250 Video Cards (500GB SSDs) and
1 x Intel NUC (5xxx Series, so a bit older)
I've tried each Alpha Release along with multiple Nightlies to no avail.
I'm trying to understand how NPVR uses media players and handles subtitles.
When I play an MKV video file with a matching SRT subtitle file, the subtitle appears in the center of the screen. If I use MPC or VLC the subtitle shows up near the bottom, which is what I want.
It's my understanding that NPVR is using the default Windows Media Player?
If so, I can't find any way to adjust the subtitle position with that player.
Is it possible to have NPVR use MPC directly, or must MPC first be the default player?
If so, I haven't had much luck getting Windows to use MPC as the default player.
To confuse me even more, I wasn't able to get subtitles to show up in either MPC or WMP when I play a TS file.
What player does NPVR use for TS files?
Does anyone know of a 'good' m3u editor? would love if it had command line support for export and easy use for weeding out the 7000 channels i Dont want in my list?
[would speed up npvr bigtime by lessening load]
and not an online one as my urls contain my passwords..
or just filtering out the thousands of foreign channels i don't want, instead of having to do it manually, 1 by 1 in text editor ?!
or even a regex to remove certain search terms? anything? none found so far that actually work or aren't online.
Someone I know likes my setup and was asking if I would help them set something up for them. Since using a FireTV box or stick requires side loading Google Play Store and Services, I was wondering if Roku might not require the same side loading since it does have Google Play Movies and TV (but as I understand it, not the app store) which means it has to be able to authenticate users and check licensing at least for media. So maybe it can authenticate the license for this app?
I could suggest a regular Android box but those will not play Netflix in HD, or Nvidia shields but those are too expensive to get one for every TV in the house. So I am really hoping Roku could be the answer. Anyone know for sure?
I suspect this might be better addressed by the app developer, but I'd love to see support for using Perfect Player as a client for watching Live TV and recordings from NextPVR. I'm using Kodi with the NextPVR PVR client, which works great, but the family prefers the PP interface.
