While doing a backup this morning, I noticed that there were a bunch (a little over 17K worth, almost 3 gbytes) of media artwork files (jpg's & xml) in the /user/public/npvr/media/shows folder - from the dates, several years worth. I did manually clean the folder, but is there a way that aged artwork can be purged after some "fixed" period of time without operator intervention?
I am trying to figure out how to include VOD off Vader Streams inside NextPVR. The IPTV portion is working great, scheduling, recording, smaller file size, and stable. Vader streams provides a video stream of movies separate from the IPTV channels portion. I have a local drive USB where movies are stored and use the Videos in Nextpvr to point to the folder and play movies
I am trying to use MCE with NextPVR and having no success. When it converts the recording to MP4, it works but NextPVR won't see it and load it back into "Whats New" or "Ready Recordings" sections. I tell it to leave the file where it was after converting and to archive the original, but when its all finished I have no recording to watch in either of the recordings sections. Does anyone know how to get MCE Buddy and NextPVR to play nice together?
Hi,
Trying to get NPVR to find the two network tuners on my HDHomeRun Extend box (ATSC signal).
NPVR installed OK, recording service started up fine. When I attempt to find the two tuners, all I see is IPTV device. Tried turning off the Windows Firewall, same result. Works fine on my older Windows 7 machine, found tuners immediately.
Seems to be something with Windows 10.
I've attached the zipped set of log files below.
Thanks for your help!
I am using NextPVR V4.2.2 on a Windows 10 machine, recording OTA broadcasts as received by a SiliconDust receiver. It has worked well for years. Recently it has started making many recordings each time a program airs. Some of them aren't complete, but usually a number of them are. I am not sure whether something changed on my end, I have the recording schedule set up wrong, or something else. It knows it is making many recordings; you can see them all in the status window (see https://pasteboard.co/HuYBLGV.png or the attachment for one example). Any suggestions about how to go about troubleshooting this?
OK, I know your gonna want logs. But without logs can someone point me in some direction as to why it is a hit or miss as to why I cannot rewind live video?
NextPVR and Is the latest ver and I am running Kodi 17.6.
Thank you very much.
Bruce
Is there a channel number tag for an XML tv guide that NPVR can pick up? I've built my own scraper to build said XML file, so I would rather assign channel numbers programmatically than mess around manually assigning them in NPVR itself as I have hundreds. Thanks.
Is there a URL I can use to put in for genres like movie in the web browser for upcoming movies, either in the Modern web interface or classic?
I have a disable recurring set up with a custom advanced rule 'genres LIKE'%movie%' but every time I choose to record one it closes the desktop Find All and I have to Find All again and scroll to where I left off. I'm thinking a web search would allow me to schedule and continue on my scrolling.
I have removed my 2 dual channel Hauppauge tuners and replaced it with a new QuadHD tuner. Is there a way to remove the older tuners. They are showing in the Devices list as not present,
but in the Channels list they are still showing up as 4 sources.
