I'm having a weird problem with my channel icons in Kodi and was just looking for some guidance as to what to possibly check next in regards to troubleshooting
ISSUE:
Not ALL ... But most channels are displaying the incorrect channel icon
WHAT STEPS I HAVE TAKEN:
multiple listed below
1. I have gone into to Kodi settings > PVR settings > Client specific settings > NextPVR > refreshed cache (didn't see a clear cache option, just refresh)
2. I have deleted the "thumbnails" and "texture.db" folders from Android data inside the device storage
3. I have tried deleting all images in the media/channels folder in Public/NPVR and just added my own icon pack only
4. Clear cache from Kodi>restart>same exact icon images still appear (mostly all wrong)
5. So then I pasted all of the images that were originally in the media/channels folder (saved them for this reason) > deleted thumbnails and texture folder, cleared cache on Kodi>restart > same exact images appear
6. I am using an xmltv epg in the Web app
7. I have a temporary free trial and schedules direct login in the Web app ongoing
8. I have also used the "download channel icons" feature on the Web app
9. Nothing at all seems to change the icons in Kodi, nothing I've tried has updated or changed anything
--------------------
As an added note, I have my service installed in tivimate and every single channel has the correct icon associated with it in there (not sure if that means anything or if that info would matter).
--------------------
I am attaching the latest log, although I'm not sure the log is needed in this question
-------------------
What else could I possibly check? .... Thanks.

Just having upgraded to a new Win 11 PC from Win 10, and installed the latest NPVR version.
Everything's working very well, except that on Win 10, in the desktop client, under the guide, there were 4 buttons: +24h, -24h, and a couple of buttons for PgUp and PgDown on the channels list - but which are now missing in the Win 11 install.
I'm not sure if clicking the date should let me navigate ahead to a different day (I think it does in the web client?), but the only way I can now find to move ahead in time is to cursor-right through the programs one-by-one.
Have checked Right-click -> Settings -> General and couldn't see anything that looked relevant, but it's definitely configured exactly as it was on Win 10 (down to same version and build number).
Is there a way to get the +/-24 buttons back on Win 11?
I have tried all of the suggestions I could find.
Nextpvr is running on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Watching on Coreelec on LePotato 2 gb.
I was working fine until I updated to Ubuntu 24.04 from 22.04, now it buffers every time it writes a chunk to the disk. Does not matter if set to Real Time or Timeshift.
I had a bit of trouble upgrading Ubuntu but everything else seems to be ok. I did update nextpvr and the Kodi addon.
I'm working with a web-based IPTV .m3u list.
The name of the list remains constant, but the tokens change frequently, so it needs to be updated every hour.
(the list was designed to be used with a player like Televizo)
I have no problem importing the list as a IPTV device, but after a few hours it stops working.
I don't think there's any way NPVR can handle this?
installed Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD card and WinTV10 software - everything works fine with wintv10 software.
When I installed NextPVR it does not see my tuners. log file attached.
Hi. I have a Windows 11 computer running NextPVR v4 (for some reason, v5 wouldn't set up properly) with a Ceton InfinitiTV 6 card. Everything was working fine up until a couple of days ago, but now NextPVR won't record anything. When I go to Show Status, it says it's recording on every channel, but nothing is being written to the disk. I tried restarting the recording service. That helped with this happened the other day, but now restarting the service and rebooting my computer don't seem to be helping.
When I go to the setting on my Ceton, everything looks like it's working. Signals being receiving. Signal strength okay, not great (I have a card in another computer that looks like it's working fine). Looks like I'm getting a signal lock even though past recordings come up as "No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal".
Anyone have any ideas what the issue might be? Feels like it's much more likely to be a software or Windows service issue than anything.
Just been recommended to give NextPVR a try by someone on a subreddit following a discussion on IPTV recording.
Followed the instructions on the website to download the client and all looks well however the install bar reaches full green and then has been like that for around 20-25 minutes, I've checked my program files directory and it appears to have installed files however I'm not sure if it's hanging/still doing something - is this a typical experience? I've downloaded and installed something else in the meantime and it resolved instantly, so I don't think it's a network connection issue.
when I played that channel I received the error 'Streaming Failed (transcoder exited)'
I installed potplayer and scaned channels
it worked without problem
