Since I purchased my new PC, I've found when I try to record after coming out of hibernation, none of the DVB-T channels will record unless I do a full restart of the PC. This doesn't affect IPTV which continues to work normally.
According to the status window, the channel records.
I'll replicate the error tomorrow morning UK time and submit a log. I suspect it's something to do with the driver for the tv stick which doesn't respond after hibernation.
@sub Just downloaded the 1.3.180426 build and enabled Direct Play to give it a go. Recordings play fine with my Oneplus 5T phone but the skipping and scrubbing doesn't seem to work. If I try to skip or jump ahead using the timeline the recording starts playing at the start rather than at the skipped-to point.
Great news with the CPU load though, offloading to the device and my cpu drops to 3-5%!! Awesome.
I live in a fringe area where often recordings have problems and will not playback. When that happens NextPVR stops responding or hangs when I attempt to delete the offending recording. If I attempt to delete the recording manually outside the program I get a message stating that the video cannot be deleted as it is in use by another program. I have stopped NextPVR and NextPVR recording service, but continue to get the same message when I attempt to delete the misbehaving recording. To delete the recordings I have to restart my PC. In the older builds of NextPVR this was not a problem.
I had to replace my HD Homerun with an identical model (I have the connect with 2 tuners). The HD Homerun software displays the channels fine, NextPVR won't tune in any channels. Do I need to start over and reset my NextPVR configuration and start over to get it to work? If so, how? Do I need to re-install, or is there a way to clear out my tuner settings?
I have seen this in various places as questions from users so I am adding this as part of the wish list (as I also have the same issue).
For countries where there are more than one EPG languages available via OTA, there is no way to choose which one to use.
Which also creates a problem if viewing TV from within Kodi, because Kodi tries to load the EPG whose language is the same as the Kodi interface language and it fails if different.
Currently this can be work rounded by using XMLTV grabbers and download EPG of the needed language manually (or as aa scheduled task) and then setup the XMLTV file in the channels setup from within Nextpvr which is not the most delicate solution (as it requires 3rd party, external to Nextpvr application).
It would be great if this got implemented at some point in time.
Hi Sub, since upgrading to newest version, I double click a program to watch, I get a black screen, no audio. Then I have to go back and select "watch" several times for it to work. Live picture is then good. Recordings seem to work just fine. Any ideas? I have de-installed and reinstalled, and re-scanned many times.
Tuner is TBS 6280, win 10 latest, GTX680 card with latest.
When it works, picture has no glitches or dropouts.
Attached logs, also any way to check signal strength in nextpvr? DVD dream seems to work fine,
Hello there. I am using vader streams iptv with nextpvr and am running into a problem again after 4.1.1 update. Watching live tv works great, however i am running into some problems with the recordings. I am able to set the recordings perfectly, however it does not record the entire show. Show epg information, says the show (eg. The flash) plays for 1 hour, however it generally records only 40-50 minutes. This is consistent throughout all channels. Is there a new Nshared.dll that i am not aware of? I have attached a google drive link with the log zip files below.
Does anybody have experience with an IR remote receiver they can recommend?
I have a Harmony Touch remote. I've been using the receiver from an old Adesso ARC-1100 that I used to use with Windows Media Center. The trouble I have is Harmony or Adesso limits my ability to configure the Touch remote with all commands I want with NextPVR. For example, I have not been able to make the guide button work by sending an F1 keyboard command.
