Hi,

I have a rather large channel line (14000 (they are VOD listings)).
These channel list load fine on nextpvr itself.
However i have problems when trying to use any other client like nextpvr for kodi or for plex.

At the beginning i thought these were issues with he clients. But even the webclient on npvr has had issues (at least lately with the additions of logos because it used to do them without logos before)
But i used a smaller source of channels (7000) and they work fine.

then i looked at logs and saw this error:

What is the best way to deal with this?(i am hoping not to manually change the channel list) is there any settings to modify to fix things?

I removed my dual Hauppauge TV pci-e tuner card from one pc and placed it in the other. Then plugged in the aerial and tried to rescan the same channels it was using previously. However, no channels were found on the DVB-T tuners which were there in the old PC. The logs seem to shed no light on the issue. https://1drv.ms/u/s!ApXAQQ5XQRNGmQfc9Wach9hoc-un A few times I received a NextPVr error stating it could not find the devices so I reinstalled NextPVR. I haven't seen that error again but still the scan finds no channels. The Event viewer shows no errors or warnings. Device manager says tuner is working ok.

At the current moment, long TV channel names are truncated in tv guide view.

There are 3 possible things we could do that would benefit the viewer.

1. Make the channel name appear on the description at the bottom of TV guide in between description tittle and time. or to the left of time. This will ensure the full name is visible for any type of channel name.

2. Is it possible to do a scrolling name on the TV guide left pane?

3. Can we have an additional option to have name + logo and not channel number?

I think the first 2 would fix any issues with channel names being too long , so you can't differentiate between sky sports 1 and 2 or sky sports f1 etc

This one is a bit odd... On Friday, April 20, 2018 I had 3 recordings all scheduled to start at 8pm (with 3 min pre-padding). Unfortunately all of them stated at 8:18 PM, but they did run to the completion time of 9:03 PM. I know it's a bit late in the game, but I just noticed it this morning, hopefully the attached logs will help.

To add to the confusion, last night I had the recording service lock up and I had to restart it which of course made 2 recordings of the nascar recording which was going on. I really didn't pay attention, but it seemed there was a lag in both of those too, but I can't be sure. Unfortunately I deleted both of those before I figured out the lag issue, sorry. I don't expect anyone could diagnose that one as far as the lag, but if anyone could offer up a guess on the crash it would be appreciated.

I also have a problem with the NPVR Device Status icon in the SysTray. It stays red well after any recordings have ended, and if I click on Status, it shows many recordings still running that in fact ended hours ago. I am also getting duplicate recordings of some shows (same time, same channel), even though there is only one timer set up for them.

Currently the Status is showing 5 shows recording, even though none, in fact, are. It is also showing a program from BBC Four (Dive WWII) as recording twice, which it did, for no apparent reason, although the recordings are long since finished, but Status says they are still continuing.

P.S. Stopping and restarting the Recording Service did clear the recordings in the Status pane and turn the icon black again, but presumably that should not be necessary!

Last night I (perhaps foolishly) upgraded from 4.1.0 to 4.1.1. Now I have problems again with live streams repeating program chunks after a few minutes. Should I revert to 4.1.0? (If it ain't broke . . .)

I'm having some trouble with my setup

I'm running NextPVR on my separate machine all is fine there, all is fine when using a Web browser to access next pvr.

but looking on my Kodi machine that's connected to the NextPVR server shows 0 recordings

there are deffinitly recordings as they are working elsewhere,
Live tv and epg is working on kodi machine just no recordings

Any help on how to fix this is welcome

Does anyone know of a way to get the true IPTV services like Playstation Vue or Sling TV, DirecTV Now to work with Next PVR?

Right now I used the bootleg services like Nitro IPTV or Vader Streams... they provide you with a m3u link and that is simple to setup with NPVR. The legit services I mentioned don't provide you with anything like that. You are probably wondering why I would even want to do this. Well I like to watch everything inside of Kodi..Live TV, my TV Show Library and my Movie Library all in one spot. So I figure if there is a way to get something like PlayStation Vue's channels to register in NPVR then I can run it through Kodi and that would fix all of my issue. The IPTV services I use right now are too unreliable.

Let me know any Idea's even if it includes buying some hardware.

As the tittle says is there a way to change the group that shows inside the tv guide. In nexpvr windows you do it by going right next to where it says meny and clicking groups. Is there a button to simulate that in this interface?
