Hi, I'm having an issue where recordings of a programme fail, and can't be deleted, because of an invalid character in the programme description.
The relevant log lines are variations on the following:

In each case it's a character 0x19 in place of what should evidently be U+2019 right single quotation mark. The description is stored (with the invalid character) in the database, but the UI shows the description blank in the pending recordings list. They fail with Object reference not set to an instance of an object, and generate an unhandled exception for the same if trying to cancel them.
Looking at the database there are examples of the 0x19 getting into the description strings of epg events across many channels.
I first encountered the problem a few days ago running the previous version and have since reinstalled with 4.1.1.180410
Many of the titles to my recordings have vanished for some reason. Everything was fine until yesterday and not all titles are gone but new recordings have no title and many old ones. I've attached logs and an image so you can see what I mean.
I have my setup working flawlessly....I have my android TV boxes running the NextPVR apk. These devices of course are not touch screen...can the next apk update be more non-touch navigation friendly? I use the remotes they came with and the directional button won't work....since there aren't pre-defined boxes that can be clicked on. I have to use mouse mode to move an arrow across the screen.

Has anyone else lost AC3 5.1 after the upgrade to 4.1.1.
I noticed that both my htpc using the Next PVR client and streaming to Kodi on an Nvidia shield that I'm only getting stereo. I used to get AC3 no problem.
I'm using the Hauppauge AC3 decoder that I've always used.
Any ideas?

I got a new WinTV HVR-1265 to use with Capture4ME (per our email discussion) and I'm getting the same type of error message as I was with my MSI TV@nywhere and my M791-B in NPVR.
In the FilterCheck log it shows the "WinTV Crossbar" but it's 1 line and no pins. (input or output) This is the latest driver from Hauppauge. Driver app only, no WinTV Suite. I used the .bat file process from the Utility page at NPVR.
Could there be a service that I have disabled causing this?
I've used them before but my diagnostic capabilities are lacking.
Included are the C4ME logs, FilterChk log and the AnalogDevice.xml file.
Hello, I'm new to NextPVR and down to one issue. The times listed in the TV Guide are zulu time rather than offsetting based on my Windows time zone setting. I'm using xmltv for the EPG source on each channel. For example, the tvguide.xml file that I'm using has:
The xmltv file is generated from tvguide.com data. tvguide.com shows this program starting no 4/15/2018 10pm EDT which lines up with the timestamp in the xml file. I'm running windows 10 and it is setup to both set the time and time zone automatically and Windows is showing me the correct date/time. Why is NextPVR not applying a timezone offset? I tried setting a TZ environment variable but that made no difference.
I'm new so if this is the wrong place for this let me know. I just set up my NPVR on Win 10 PC and most of it seems to be running fine except the scheduling for epg updates does not seem to be functioning. I set it to update at 2:00am each morning yet when I go to check the recording schedule there are no titles or descriptions in the guide. I have to do the update guide at the channels list myself. Maybe I missed something in my setup. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, and this may be related, some recordings wont allow me to do season pass setup. A few have but not all.
I created a custom TV Channel group using the TV tuner and IPTV channels. Issue, when you change channels the next channel selected is not part of the TV Channels group, but from the All TV channels EPG.
Not sure how it was designed or if I missed a default setting. Logs are attached. In the logs I switched from 76 to 77, then clicked again and it should have skipped to channel 90, but took the next channel in the All EPG list.
I am using an IPTV service - I clicked on Live TV tab and a window popped up with the message "Sorry, no tuner available" - I do not recall I had this problem before downloading the new version.
I have no problem watching the IPTV channels while I am in TV Guide, but no success when on Live TV tab.
