I was happily watching a recording which I finished and deleted but when I tried to watch the next one I got no response when hitting Enter on the file - I'm using Kodi.
I went into NextPVR and got the unable to find device message for both of the digital tuners on my dual card.
I thought I could simply delete the devices and re-add them but I can't find a way to add them back.
I've uninstalled NextPVR and installed again but no joy.
Please help. I'm running Windows 10 Home.
I re-scanned and finished up with two channels called ITV3 and both as channel number 10 ... The log of the scan is attached. Nothing is being broadcast for ITV3 on the "old" frequency. The end result was a mucked up channel list with lots of un-merged ITV3 channels.
TSCapture showed the channel number of the old ITV3 as 788 (or thereabouts).
For completeness, There are also duplicates of TruTV and Sony Crime Channel in the scans ... the two digit channel number versions are broadcasting and the three digit channel number versions are not broadcasting.
I am using Windows 7 htpc as a server and a couple of android boxes as clients. Iâm using Schedules direct for my epg data. The epg data is correct when Iâm using my WMC. It seems the guide is not being updated in NextPVR application.
Hello, I am situated in the UK using the Hannington transmitter (Freeview). All of a sudden the EPG has disapeared leaving me with "No Show Details" on all channels.
Any ideas?
Scants
I have an Empia 2875 ATSC tuner that I was using with NextPVR. It seems that the tuner has ceased working in NextPVR, and I'm looking for some help in getting it working again. I noticed that when I use the timeshifting or recording functionality, the resulting files are zero bytes long.
I also noticed that when I scan for channels now, no channels are found. Does anyone have any thoughts for what might be going wrong?
A problem has come up now and then so I thought I would see if it is common or something unique to my setup. Right after this event I saved the logs.
NextPvr started, moved to recordings, picked the recording I wanted to watch. Scrolled to resume and hit enter. This is where the problem is. The program locks up. The only way to get out is ctrl, alt, delete to get device manager to run. Then close the program. This is on a Windows 7 desktop.
I'd like to setup port forwarding on my router for NPVR. I've already exposed 8866 as a different port (say 10001) so any client traffic attempting to hit 10001 will go to the NPVR web service.
In the android client, can you allow user to specify port # for manual setup in Add Server to accommodate a port forwarding setup?
I have a couple shows recorded in wtv format from Media Center. I have converted them to ts and attempted to import them to NPVR but the import dialog says there is no metadata...so no recordings are imported. I tried Vid Import and it did work...but it didn't group my series recordings together (I am also using the TV Listings plugin). The Vid Import wiki has lots of commands to output various data in the xml, however there are no clear instructions on how to use it. I accidentally figured out that dragging the video file onto the Vid Import.exe generated an xml that would import the tv shows. However, again, it doesn't group the shows together.
So, is it possible to have the imported shows grouped together with others in the same series? And are there clearer directions somewhere for Vid Import?
This happens to me very often, usually randomly. To the point where I get frustrated and clean install Windows to have the problem "fixed". But this always happens. I'm using the NextPVR add-on. Happens on Windows 7 and 10.
This app works great for me on my phone and tablet, thanks very much!
Couple of features I miss, which are probably in the queue anyway, are:
1) Ability to order "All Recordings" by reverse time (latest at top)
2) I like to have a lot more recordings in "Recent Recordings"
