Hi ! Like many people, I've got this error "Sorry, No tuner available" when I Watch IPTV with NextPVR. It appears after a certain period when I switch channel.
All time scheduled recordings have failed since I installed the program. I get the message "No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal." There is a .ts (size 0) file and a folder with the correct name but no playable video. I can see live TV and even record it when watching. The EPG has the correct info. I am in the UK. Can anyone help please?
I'm running NextPVR happily using a single IPTV device. However the EPG XMLTV url provided with my IPTV feed only supports a 24 hours EPG. I have taken out a trial subscription to Schedules Direct. When I attempt to perform the channel mapping manually it fails to map the first channel correctly. Also fails the the second. Then the bulk channel mapping fails to map any channels at all.
I have selected Freesat from Sky - Cable (GBR-1002100DEFAULT) as my EPG lineup.
Has anyone successfully used Schedules Direct with auto mapping?
Ok...I have been using NPVR for over 1.5 years now. GREAT software by the way
I have direct TV , using a Windows 10 PC, a Happauge 1212 PVR with no issues whatsoever.....
Today, I added a 2nd device. A wintTV dual HD USB tuner. I have had this device hooked up previously on a different PC, but, since I bought my new computer in July, I haven't hooked it back up. Until today
I know NPVR pretty well and have never really had many issues in the past, but, for some reason, I cannot get this today (feels like my head is going to explode)
I use schedules direct for my channel line up, by the way
What is happening is, when i add the Dual USB device, NPVR scans for new channels, finds them, adds them, then I go through them and make sure they all point to the proper lineup (I have 2 lineups on schedules direct. . One for direct TV , one for Local OTA channels in my area). I point all my Dual USB channles to look at the OTA lineup. however (and this is where it is confusing me), there are particular channels, that, after I switch them to point to the OTA lineup, as soon as I close the menu, the particular channel seems to go back and point to the Direct TV lineup. 56.1 channel is one that does it, and 22.1 is another......no matter how many times i switch it to point at the OTA, it goes back to direct tv. It has NEVER done this to me before and I am unsure if I am doing something wrong or not.
it is resulting in some channels showing the "no show detail" error.
I have emptied the EPG and updated the EPG at least 5 or 6 times now. (Heck, that is all I ahve been doing for the past 90 minutes) . I have completely removed the Dual USB device from NPVR and re-added it...as a matter of fact, after removing the USB device, even some of my direct tv channels (which have NEVER had an issue prior) are reading "no show details". So i am in some sort of EPG, Schedules direct hell right now
I am caught in an endless loop and this is very frustrating
Something worth mentioning, when updating the EPG the number of times i did, there is a quick error (as it scans) that is flashing..kinda fast so it is hard to read, but, it reads something like "11-24-2017 cannot get data....or something like that). As if it cannot retrieve the 8 days of schedules......can schedules direct be having issues tonight and causing me these headaches ?
My logs are attached. please try to help if you can.
I'm afraid I know the answer to this question before I ask, but here goes anyway....
Is there any chance you could put out a patch for 3.9.2 that will allow me to get CC's for the H264 broadcasts?
I haven't been using 4.0.4 since shortly after I started the "Skip Hangs Playback" thread 4 months ago.
It looks like it's still a work in progress.
Personally, I could stay with 3.9.2 indefinitely, but unfortunately for me I've come to rely heavily on subtitles.
ok so I started a thread on which machine to use... so if not this one it will get rebuilt and not worried about but I'm curious..
I have been using my machine and nextpvr for a while now and it has always recorded, etc...
I haven't done anything to it..
the HD Homerun View app will bring up and connect, and display live tv from the Prime box.
Next PVR is now giving me an error but in settings it sees the cards. where in the logs can I find out what is going on?
Ok so I have been using NextPVR to do DVR and love it. intel nuc with nextpvr also watches tv... but I am using an HD Homerun Prime box. Works SUPERB!!!!
now in June (so I have time) my current xfinity package ends.
all ch, HBO, Showtime, Skinnimax, Stars, Sports pack, Internet Blast (200mb which I get up to 278mb!!!) for $165/m. Once this is done in June I will be paying about $320-$360 but of course I wouldn't keep it. it was a promo hence why I got it. I would drop many channels HOWEVER.. my neighbor turned me on with HD OTA then the Hauppauge quad tuner card here turned me on ever more..
on 1st floor I get 46 channels and no ch6
on 2nd floor I get 57 channels and no ch6
mounted to attic stud I get 71 channels AND ch6!!!!! albeit not the clearest and does get blocky a bit but maybe I buy a real antenna and see if it does better. a powered one.
None the less the biggie was for me to get a cable ran from basement to attic. so the hard part is done.
now my quandary
my current setup doing my DVR/MCEBuddy/convert and move to Plex is as follows...
HP 8200 Elite Small Form Factor
Windows 10 pro
I7-2600
16gb ram
Western Digital Black WD5001AALS 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s
I can use that OR I have a new machine I could use..
it is dual cpu capable and only has 1 now but an easy ebay purchase (not expensive) would get me 2x6 core xeon cpus
so I could use
Lenovo C30 Small Form Factor
Windows 10 Pro
Intel Xeon E5-2620
16gb Ram
Samsung 128gb SSD
Western Digital Black 2tb
so either of these would work and would get the tuner which I expect to order soon..
I have Comcast Digital Pekin Illinois (61554) and use a CableCard. I tested live TV with several HD channels and it appeared to be working. But it's having troubles recording. So I tested a channel it was failing to record at all. Live TV won't display. In the case of another channel, it only recorded about 15 minutes of a 2 hours show.
I am having issues with adding a channel to my analog tuner list. I can scan for the channel and it finds it, but when i get an unhandled exception. Is there any way I can add the channel manually, IE in a file somewhere with the frequency. Thanks.
After recovering from problems that seemed to be due a SiliconDust update, I'm mostly back in business. The only issue is that I don't have any sound. I've tried the LAV and ffdshow decoders.
I've used suuport a little heavily in the last week; I've made a donation. :-)
