I though i read about an installation workaround here, but now i cannot find it again.
i installed an old HVR 1250 into my plex windows 10 box. NextPVR shows it in devices as IPTV. i tried wintv7 and it wont install stating no valid wintv devoces were found. imtried the hwclear and revooted, bit windows doesnt present a new hardware wizard. Im not even sure what its labeled in device manager to remove it from there. Any ideas? thanks
I have been having a few issues with zero size or shortened files being recorded. I have also had times when the recording did not occur due to the device not showing as found in NPVR, but is shown to be there in windows device manager (I originally thought this was the only issue, but not). The device issue mainly occurs with my new tuner Hauppauge QuadHD Tuner so I am wondering if you do not yet support this device. Also for this device, the status window may not show it there, but it is actually recording and is shown as found in NPVR settings...
For the zero size files here are some examples on 3/29/17, device was found in NPVR (I started checking each day)...
Imaginary Mary - shortened file
Blackish - zero
Empire - zero
Marvels Agents of Shield - zero
On 3/12/17
Elementary - zero but this was a day where the device was not found following waking the computer from sleep
I have attached zipped logs for both dates.
I also can say that on 3/29, and I think another day when I had the issue, that my computer was connected via VPN to the internet. I don't know why that would matter for a pci tuner, but I wanted to mention it just in case.
I just noticed today that NextPVR doesn't populate Star Rating for movies from SD JSON, I have my own utility that does this this in so it was masking the problem Could this value be populated if possible?
I encounter this in nlite as well as nexpvr, but the printscreen is from nlite:
When TV Guide gets open, the FIRST broadcast gets always focus instead of ACTIVE one, although the first one might be past already. Taping Enter shows no "Watch" option then:
I've been using a pair of HVR-2250 tuner cards about 7 years now. One of the tuners died a couple years ago, so I'm down to just the one tuner now.
I've been happy with the HVR-2250, but I get a lot of drop outs and data corruption with weak stations on the HVR-2250. Our TV's have no problems with the same stations on the same antenna.
Has anyone here upgraded from a HVR-2250 to the newer Hauppauge QuadHD tuner? Does the QuadHD tuner perform any better with weak stations than the old HVR-2250 does?
nextPVR install on Win 10 with analog tuner it works locally I can see all channels. Kodi install on Win 8.1 I can see all channels loaded on the left panel, but I can't play any channels after trying to find the channels an error came up : "Tuner no longer available"
Note: When I use the NextPVR Web access I can play my channels.
Any solution?
Is there a way to assign a keyboard shortcut to start a custom task that has already been defined?
I have "KODI" defined as a custom task, but I have to go back to the Home menu then scroll down the list to get to KODI.
It would be great to press 1 key from inside NextPVR that would take me directly to KODI.
Thanx.
This script generates a report from the DVB Collector EPG.xml File.
It lists shows based on a Search function.
I access the report from the NPVR menu.
I prefer this approach as I can quickly scan all searches in one report.
You will need to rename the attachment from EPGSearch.txt to EPGSearch.vbs
it requires a little bit of programming to setup for your own searches.
