Are there any patches for v3.9.2? If so, where can they be downloaded from? I noticed on the System page that NPVR is telling me I have v3.9.2 but update v3.9.2 is available.
Have I forgotten something or was there never a function to delay subtitles on-the-go in NextPVR? I could really need such a function since some of my channels display subtitles way ahead of the audio...
Some shows seem to get the Season/Episode info correct, some get it some times, and others don't have any Season/Episode numbers? I'm using Schedules Direct. Dora the Explorer has the info sometimes, but not always. Octonauts never has the Season/Episode numbers and just has a date. I have my Plex is setup to read the NextPVR recordings directory, but without the Season/Episode info Plex ignores the files. Is there any settings to make this work better?
Also it would be nice if there was a way to have NextPvr put in empty Season and Episode numbers for things that don't have number. Example for sporting events or news recordings just put in S00E00. At least this way plex would see it and maybe import it.
On my main TV although my RPi2 runs 1080p at 50Hz OK both my AMD E450 and Intel Celeron powered nettop PCs will only run at 24Hz or 30Hz. It seems to be some incompatibility between this particular TV and LibreElec/KODI as both PCs when connected to other TVs run at up to 50Hz & 60Hz at 1080p.
As a work around I am using the KODI Player setting âAdjust Display Refresh Rateâ which seems OK. Will it be best to run at 24Hz or 30Hz for best results or wont it matter? The other option is to playback at 720p which offers 50 Hz playback.
Every two weeks or so, I have to manually update the TV guide by pressing "Update EPG" in settings. If I do not, series recordings will not happen. Is there a setting I can change so this is done automatically? I am using the paid version of schedules direct.
Been using NextPVR for a few months without a hitch but just this week the TV guide has stopped working. I should note that setting up the .xml and .bat files wasn't simple but following the Wiki guides and Forums here allowed me to achieve the dream. There have been no changes made to the Scripts folder or to the system in general. At first I thought it was a Kodi issue as my clients suddenly stopped showing new/scheduled recordings nor did they show guide info. So I checked NextPVR on my server PC, Windows 8.1 Intel i5, and the guide info did not appear in NextPVR either. Hence, the Kodi clients didn't have any EPG data to pull through.
I'm fairly tech savvy and can follow instructions well and am usually able to 'fix' things with some guidance. Attached are my logs and if any further info is needed to detect the problem I will surely supply it.
Does the client use the same DB that the server uses?
If so, then the playback position should be the same for both the client and server?
I've seen an instance where my client reports a recording has reached the end and "do I want to delete it" but if I go to the server it will resume where I originally stopped it.
