I have a few .mp4 files with subtitles embedded.
If I try to play them in NPVR the right click menu says subtitles 'disabled', and I cannot find any setting in v3.9.2 (161119) to switch them on!!
They will play in VLC player if I switch on the subtitles from the right click menu.
im having a bit of an issue with time shifting when watching live tv in kodi. I have enabled the setting in kodi and i can pause live tv, but when i go to resume from the pause it automatically jumps from when the channel was paused straight to real time. i have only tried on kodi 17 as all my devices are running this but i get the same results in windows, android and on a raspberry pi.
i have the tuner device connected to a win7 computer and am watching the tv over wifi. i read that it could be decoder related so i tried installing the saf6 filters but still have the same results.
Edit: it works as expected in kodi v16 on my spare raspberry pi 2, you pause the live tv and it resumes playing from where you paused it.
I just got my NextPVR working this past Friday. Hauppauge WinTV Dual Tuner, plugged into a Windows 10 Laptop, running NextPVR Server. (backend) I have a Amazon FireTV, loaded with Kodi Krypton, running the NextPVR Client. I have manually downloaded some Channel logos, renamed them to match the Channels and they show up on the Backend and on the Channel list of the Client, but not the Guide. Overall, the Guide on the NextPVR Client is not as awesome as the NextPVR Guide on the Laptop. Not all the channels are populated with content information. (What's now playing, next show, etc.) Are there more things I can do to get the Full usage of the Guide in Kodi? I', loving it so far and I just want to fully maximize the experience.
When i click on guide, I am getting an unhandled exception error that says "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". It was working fine until it stopped recording a couple of weeks ago. I had pending recordings that were mostly in the past. I upgraded to the latest version, and now I get this error or something similar whenever i click on "guide". I use Schedules Direct for my EPG.
I have attached my logs. Please let me know if anyone knows how I can fix. Thanks.
Hello,
I have an AverMedia M135-A PCI Analog TV Tuner card installed in my PC. The problem is that when I try to set it up in NextPVR, it's just not there. I have drivers for it and it has worked with WMC.
Is there a way to add it manually or do I just have to wait for support to come?
Finally about to get my npvr system going again. But, while it works it is a PITA to define some 100 channels for 3 different pc's on the iptv device. Is it possible to make an export-for-iptv function so that I can export channels on one pc and just import them on another for the iptv device? Such a function would save me days of manual work....
Currently NPVR creates a named folder for each new show title it records onto my default media drive. I would rather the shows just get dropped onto the drive as single named files which Windows alphabetizes well.
Any ideas if this is possible?
Was wondering do I need to install a codec or something because on my Ceton Infinitv 6 pci-e cablecard only the SD channels display properly. The HD channels do not come in at all. Do I need to install a codec?
