I am running windows 10 64 bit, and have installed Nextpvr yesturday, and it scans channels fine and plays video fine, records programmes fine, but audio doesnt seem to work on this, I noticed at first it said audio wouldn't work without the decoders set, so I set the decoders up in the settings, audio didn't work and it flashed this message up once again?, for some unknown reason, so I checked, and sure enough I had set decoders for audio, as well as video. So I restarted nextpvr, to be sure settings were implimented, however audio still doesn't work on this, but playback of a recording is perfect on wmp classic. I currently have klite mega codec pack installed, so decoders arent a problem.neither he-aac , or ac3 track are working on this application, but both are perfect on wmp classic. I have tried setting audio output to both default, and to the speaker output on the motherboard sound, which I use.the dvb-t dongle is a realtek 2832U compatible device from china, and works on other apps, but considering the recorded content is fine, this doesn't seem to be any of the problem.

Some of my channels are OK for live TV with the IOS client, but for other channels the audio and video never shows.
On my pc server I can see that the live TV stream is started, but it never starts on the IOS client, and after a short while the server stops the stream.
Attached 2 set of log-files; One where live TV is OK, and another set of logs where it doesn't work.

Another thing; Shouldn't it be possible to run more than one client at a time?
Using a 4-tuner HDhomerun I watch live TV on one IOS device. If I start the IOS client on another device, and try to watch another channel live, the server will use the same tuner, thereby interrupting the live TV on the first client.

Newer members add on older threads that they think is a relevant issue/problem to their current issue. I did and got scolded by a senior member.

Maybe the admin could go in and lock all the older threads so newer members aren't ran off of this project.

If my memory serves me right there is an addon to VBullentin that allows a thread to auto lock after a predefined period of time.

Is it possible to return the PC to standby after nextPVR wakes it up to perform the EPG update?

their is a problem with codec VBI Surface Allocator Broken have tried to fix this but its not happening is it possible to backup nextpvr @ schedule direct and go back to windows 7 or will I have to fresh install both programs was just a thought any thoughts ??

Hi. I thought I would try and watch a previously recorded show over the Ethernet LAN in my house from another PC. It plays ok but I cant figure out how to Fast forward or skip forward or backward. I can pause the recording and then restart it but the other commands elude me.

I have tried from a windows 10 PC with Edge and Firefox and also from Android 6.0 with Chrome on a smartphone. What have I missed?

NextPVR is the only sound-making software on my Windows 10 PC which doesn't appear in the Windows Volume Mixer window to enable me to mute it or adjust its volume relative to other applications. Is this normal behaviour or something amiss? (I'm using it with a Blackgold DVB-T and DVB-S all-in-one four-tuner card if that makes a difference.)

I purchased a new HDHomeRun recently and installed NextPVR in preparation of it's arrival. Once plugged in, I ran the HDHR setup program and updated it's firmware. I then opened NextPVR with anticipation. I found the HDHR listed in devices, but was unable to connect to it to update the channels, etc. I ended up rebuilding the server NextPVR was running on and now can't find any devices at all. I installed NextPVR on an older Windows 7 machine and again, no devices found.

Giving up, I went to my plex server and installed the PlexDVR distribution. This immediately found the HDHR, installed the channels and with a quick test recording, captured TV and even recoded and updated my library for me.

Now the thing is, I don't really want Plex doing this. Ideally, I wanted something to capture TV, allow me to watch what I wanted and archive onto Plex anything I wanted to keep, sans adverts, etc.

I've attached the logs files from my system, but as far as I can see, it's an issue with the updated firmware and the current version of NextPVR. Can you check this and confirm?
