I have a Raspberry Pi 2 that I would like to use to run the new NLite Client (. Has anyone tried this yet? A few instructions on setup would be helpful. I'm a bit new to Pi/Linux.
Things have been working fine but now I can't connect to the Web UI. I get an error:

Of course, I have no idea what this means because I'm ignorant.

I have been trying to record the overnight events from the Olympics on Freesat UK.
I have selected Freesat(UK) for the channels and can get the EPG data by emptying the EPG and then Update EPG, no problem.
But when the EPG update runs at 7 am every morning the Freesat(UK) EPG information just disappears and I have to manually empty the EPG and the update again to get it back every day.
Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
Maybe it could be fixed with a new "UpdateEPG.bat" file which empties the EPG first before updating, although I don't have the knowledge to do this.
My Current "UpdateEPG.bat" file looks like this.
I was running NPVR is full screen mode and I had a flickering issue after the Windows 10 Anniversary upgrade. Occasionally I would have a short freeze.
Concurrently I had an issue with Remote Desktop too with the client taskbar being hidden under the desktop's taskbar when the RDP was in fullscreen.
I was going to zip my logs and seek help here with the fullscreen flicker and freeze but I was too consumed with the RDP taskbar issue.
I resolved my RDP Taskbar issue and my NPVR Fullscreen and freeze issue disappeared too.
The issue was a running app was in "MustBeSeen" mode. It could have been any program running with that attribute that was not up to the new Windows changes.
For me it was Google Chromes Hangouts extension. It was set to "always on top" and for some reason Hangouts was constantly being active making the taskbar active. It is also the cause of some the taskbar flickering and autohide appearing not to work. I turned off "Always on Top" on Hangouts and all is well again.
Just a note, for me it was Google Hangouts. It could have been any program, even background apps without a usable gui, that has an attribute set to "AlwaysBeSeen". An old Win 7 or 8 OEM like HP or Dell driver update app or Nvidia. Any program not built for Windows 10. To figure out it was Hangouts for me I had to disable all startup and running programs and turn them on one by one until I found the culprit.
I am not sure if this is an appropriate post for this section or not but it might save some headaches because nothing is worse than trying to watch a show with a full screen flicker or freeze and nothing worse than blaming NPVR for it when it's not NPVR's fault.
I would have posted this in the Support forum but it's not a question and there is no need to zip and post logs. I don't want the log police coming after me. :eek:

Hello I just purchased the NextPVR app It opens and i get the guide when i select a channel I get a black screen with starting Device -please wait along the top it disappears after a while and the screen is all black expect for a blue Back button.

When I check C:\Program Files\NPVR\Other my ffmepg.exe is from 1/31/2016
When I check C:\Users\Public\NPVR\web\temp I get files that show the channel but they are all 0 byte length when I open them there is nothing in the file.
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I am not sure what or where to go looking next.
I leave my equipment on 24 hours and my IP address holds for a very long time. I have had the same IP address for as long as 13 month. It only changes when there has been a power outage for a long time. Sometimes, that even does not change it. I have had an account for years with a Dynamic Name Service and have some programs that use this service. It works just fine, no problems, well, almost.
This question is for the knowledgeable readers here that can explain why some programs just will not work with a DNS. They require you to have the IP address stored in their settings in number form. My security camera program is one of these. When the IP here does change, I have to reset the numbers and reset all the camera settings in my phone to view the cameras. Any ideas?
i've been recording the olympics using nextpvr and kodi. working good for the most part but i noticed that for one broadcast listing in the guide (say, olympics primetime, which is about 4 hours long) when i go to recordings to watch it, it's been broken up into multiple files. is this there a setting in npvr to make it one file per listing, or is this an issue in kodi?
how do i set differing log levels?
i know where it is in config.xml...but what are the possible values?
we used to have a drop down selection box with the different levels, but now i can't find it..
because something deleted 2 terabytes of my recordings on a drive, and i have no idea how, because the logs don't even make to the beginning of today!?

i'd like to have much more logging duration, and less irrelevant caca stuffing them up..[every client byte chunk]
seems something deleted all of my recordings on one of my setup destinations, and neatly deleted over 150 recordings...leaving root dirs, but cleaning out my recording dir...
i have autoremove set to false, don't see how any accidental keypresses could delete that many dirs without deleting root dir, and not touching any other dirs on drive..
could some of my files having ".." in them have something to do with it? [it replaces the " *" with ".." because of the space]
i replaced the modern dir in web with fixed one by UJB, and all that works fine now..and haven't even used it but twice...and never deleted anything from it..
any ideas?
all my other recording dirs are fine...this was last rec. dir in list..
I am attempting to record a show called "Are You the One?".... But regardless of episode or how I attempt to record, I get a screen that suggests a conflict, but does not show one, I assume because I am recording no other show at that time in reality. Might that be related to the trailing question mark in the title?
Is it possible to add a setting into the settings screen, perhaps on the general section that allows us to choose the process priority that processes run at, for example i'd like the processes to run at high priority.
