The guide data in Australoia is no good to use any of the methods of recording it seems. For example, one show is on weekly at 8.30PM, then repeated on two other days in the middle of the night and lunchtime. I only want the one to record. New episodes never gets picked due to no good guide info.
One option that DVBLogic has is to pick 'around this time' when setting the recordings. That means only ones around that time get recorded - and the repeats then do not.
When using the modern web interface I would like to see the TV stream start when clicking the blue 'Watch' button instead of having to click on another arrow button to start the TV stream.
I am having trouble keeping the live TV stream going for more than a few minutes using the modern web interface. It starts fine but after a while it just stops and I get a black screen with an error message "A network error caused the media download to fall part-way". I am using Chrome web browser.
A browser refresh makes it start again. Attached is a screen grab and NPVR logs.

We have just moved location (25 miles) and I now have a black screen and no audio after scanning to all regions. THe aerial socket was fitted yesterday but I have no TV to try it with but it should be good to go.
I am running NextPVR on Windows 10, NextPVR 3.7.7
Card: Hauppauge: WinTV-HVR-1850
Video Decoder: Microsoft DTV
Audio Decoder(Mpeg 1): Microsoft DTV
Audio Decoder(Others): LAV
No audio on HD channels while audio is fine on standard channels. Recordings from HD channels play with audio on VLC.
I have attached the NPVR.log and a sample of the video which will not play with audio on NextPVR..
It's been a while since I have been on the forums or even to the NPVR site, I mean, if its working why break it right?
But today I pop over to see whats going on in the community and I noticed 3.7.7 was released. So I read the thread and notice there is a new web app along with a native iPhone app. I upgraded to the new 3.7.7 and tried out the new web app, and it is absolutely fantastic. And as great as the web app is, the iPhone app is even better! The iPhone app along with all the features/enhancements of 3.7.7 is a pure example of how TV should be viewed/scheduled/recorded/etc...
I'm so happy I'm beside myself. I cannot wait to install the iPhone app on my wife's phone tonight and show her how easy it is to schedule her shows!
Has anyone had a problem with a single show or even multiple shows not being added under a specific timer?
Example: Everyday I record Pardon The Interruption. My guide puts an * on all new first run shows. I select search for Pardon The Interruption* and all the upcoming episodes display in the search box. However, when I select the next schedule episode and try to set a recurring timer, none of the upcoming episodes are added to the timer, not even the episode I chose. It doesn't mater what timer type I select or any other option settings. I have to manually record each one on the list. As new recordings are added when my XML guide file update they are also not added to the timers I attempted to set.
If this was a single show type thing then I would just keep doing it manually. However, I have noticed that it has started happening under other shows. Fortunately I am able to redo the timers for other shows and it seems to "fix" the issue.
This issue was introduced with the new release. I'll try my best to describe it. I have port forwarding set up so I can properly connect to the NPVR webUI from remote locations. When I am remote I am able to hit the web server and see the basic GUI, but none of the data seems to load. All the menus work, but the guide data, recordings, timers, etc never populate. Never populate that is until I load the WebUI on the local network. When I first hit the issue, I immediately used remote desktop to load up the server running NPVR. I went to the address for the webui and it immediately loaded; weird. I then went back to my mobile phone and everything loaded up correctly; very weird . Here is a video that trys to show what I am seeing. In the video you will see:
from 0-10 seconds me trying to load the webui from a remote location
from 10-35 seconds I switch to "remote desktop" to my NPVR server and successfully load the data there
35-end I switch back to the remote location and now the data loads successfully.
i have a hauppage hvr-950q that just will not find any channels during scan. i've got internet service only at my house and i split it at the wall with a line going to the usb tuner and the other going to my modem. i have used this setup successfully with windows media center back on windows 7. i upgraded to windows 10 and tried the workaround install for windows media center. i got it running but it wouldn't download the guide info and wouldn't find the one channel i need right now, so i was hoping next pvr and kodi would work better. i've included my logs, so hopefully someone can find something.
*update*
while i was running the scan to make logs showing i couldn't get any channels, it found some channels. still not the one i need. but now, when i click on live tv a please wait sign quickly flashes and nothing happens. also the guide is showing no data, if i need to pay for the better guide, thats fine. i'm still attaching my logs to see if there's something weird going on.
Hi, I'm new to nextpvr after jumping from windows media centre due to upgrading to windows 10. One thing I'm not sure about though, is it possible to have my old media centre recordings which are still on the PC appear in nextpvr recordings somehow?
I cannot wait to install the iPhone app on my wife's phone tonight and show her how easy it is to schedule her shows!
