When using the "Videos" tab in the UIClient, there is a green bar in front of any videos I have watched.
Where is that info stored? I don't believe it's in the DB; in metadata?
This is weird, all of the sudden I can watch anything using the web client and firefox. I get the error streaming failed (transcoder exited). When I try to use the client I only get audio. When I use microsoft edge, everything works fine.
Any thoughts on how to fix this?
Edit: I did a fresh log dump before posting, but uploaded the wrong one. I can't delete the old one. The fresh log is the one ending 1108
On my Windows NextPVR client, the OSD for live TV doesn't show the elapsed time or time remaining for the current program. This information is known in the EPG, as seen by the vertical line.
Can the OSD timeline be updated to show elapsed time or time remaining? It's very useful to know how far into a program you are, and how much more there is to go.
Is there a socket issue along with the inability to connect with Schedule Direct?
On 8/22/25 6:00 PM, NextNPR did not record a program because the program descriptions in the guide were empty. The same program scheduled for 8/21/25 at the same time was recorded.
NextPVRServer.exe was run and showed an issue with an attempt to access a socket was forbidden and an attempt to connect with ScheduleDirect responded with [4] {"code":403,"response":"Username expected but not provided."}. A Word file (to preserve colored text, black text seemed to pipe to a file but the color only appeared in the command Window) is attached with output. The red colored text in the Word doc seemed associated with errors in the Event Viewer.
I try to look for the ver of NextNPR but forgot how to get the setting so opened http://localhost:8866 which showed some recorded programs but no version found. Closed it. Later, it would not reopen with the error that the local page could not be found. Update NextPVR to 7.0.2 (right click in NextNPR to getting setting and version) and local page returned.
Other attempts to resolve the socket failure (regedit added MaxUserPort value, identify the socket being used by NextPVR in task manager did not seem to indicate some other program was using it, Defender had NextPVR allowed through, netsh reset, last window update 8/13/25) were not successful in altering the issue.
Attached in ZIP.zip file (NextPVR log not include as other have provided):

I've had my setup working on 6.1 for years. I renewed my SD subscription last month and my schedule has been working. I noticed today that nothing recorded yesterday and my schedule is gone. I went to Settings>Guide and removed my SD username and password. I re-entered it and am getting a 'Login Failed' message. I logged into SD and confirmed I'm using the correct login info.
I upgraded from 6.1 to the latest version and stopped the service, removed my Schedules Direct login from config.xml, and started it again. The issue still persists. I attached my log. Any ideas what's causing this?
Is there any setting that will remember where I was in the Recording list?
If I look for a recording, typically in a series of many recordings, and play it I usually want to go back there the next time to play the next one, but every time I select the Recordings it resets the view and I have to go searching again.
I vaguely recall that it did used to do this in an earlier version NextPVR or even way back in GBPVR, but maybe not.

I have a Hauppague QuadHD PCIe card and I am attempting to find DVB-T / DVB-T2 channels. Scanning lasts may 2 mins and repeatedly comes back with zero channels. I've tried multiple transmitters in my area (UK, North East Kent, so Meridian) but it repeatedly come back with zero channels.
I was using Plex previously but that has a seperate PVR UI issue I cannot fix, hence I have come here and try and an alternative solution. I note that plex did pick up some channels so the HW is could. How bets to progress this?
I haven't made any changes, and it's worked for years, but now I have no TV guide data. When I run EPG Update, it shows domain not found, yet I can log into Schedules Direct fine. The channels EPG are all set to Schedules Direct. What happened?
