In the US, trying to setup NextPVR again after years of absence. New stick Lenovo PC with Win 10.
Installed latest HDHomeRun software and firmware, ran it's setup and scanned for Clear QAM channels. Worked fine and I can view the channels using HDHomeRun software.
Next, installed NextPVR. During Scan for channels none are found. Disabled firewall completely to make sure that wasn't the cause of trouble, and tried scan with BDA Compatibility Mode setting as Default and NextPVR. No dice.
I've attached the logs. Maybe the interesting part is the error shown below, repeated for each channel:

Hello...
First time using NPVR on Win10. TV card is Hauppauge 2250.
I get this error every time I do a manual EPG update, which I do frequently because iI find my EPG to have no data on numerous channels.
Any ideas?

Bought and using.
First observation is that it is very neat, the layout is logical.
Points so far.
1. In TV Guide, could you add a button to view as well as record?
2. In Recording, could you add a sorting feature to have old to new as well as new to old, so that newest listings can be on the top?
3. Option to add a server manually so that I can watch TV over the internet or from another WiFi. - EDIT: Found how to do it. Maybe make it an option in Settings?
I need help with an issue I can't seem to figure out. I upgraded my server from WIN 8.1 to WIN 10. I was using WMC as my DVR with WIN 8.1. Because WIN 10 gets rid of WMC I had been looking for a replacement. I tested NEXTPVR on another WIN 10 desktop I had and it worked great in conjunction with my dual HDHomeRun tuner. I am only using OTA for channels and the EPG data worked fine on the WIN 10 test machine giving me multiple days of programing data.
I upgrade my server to WIN 10 and installed NEXTPVR but I have not been able to get the EPG data to work. It only shows 1 hour worth of data in the guide. I went back to my test machine and confirmed it is working fine. I have checked the setups against each other and have them setup the exact same way on both machines. Please note I'm not trying to update the EPG data at the same time on both computers. I am doing 1 at a time so I don't tie up the tuners.
I have attached my logs from both the working and nonworking install along with pictures of the guides. I would appreciate any guidance you can give.
The only difference between the machines is that the working desktop is 32 bit. The nonworking server is 64 bit.

This is a very new application, and I'm sure it's not flawless, but I will be actively working to resolve any issues that are found, and will be providing regular updates. Apple also provides me crash dumps, to assist in resolving any unexpected application crashes. (Make sure you give me a chance to resolve any issues before rating the app on the App Store )

This client application requires NextPVR v3.7.7 or above.
FAQ The video shows the application auto detecting the server and starting automatically - if I've got multiple servers, can I choose between them? If only one server is detected, it'll auto logon and jump to the channels screen. If multiple servers are detected, it'll show the list and let you choose between them.
Can I manually add a server, so I can remotely access it when I'm away from home? Yes. There is a trick to manually adding a server though, since it usually automatically logs on - briefly stop the NextPVR Recording Service, then start the app on your phone. You'll now be able to hit the 'add' button to enter the details of your server. You can use an IP address or domain name. You can then restart the Recording Service. From then on, the server will be listed each time you start the app.
Can I resume playback of a recording? Yes. Like NextPVR's Recording details screen on the PC, it'll show a green line next shows that you have partially watched. If you do a long press on a show, it'll pop up a context menu with other options (Play/Resume/Delete) to perform on that show.
Are channel groups supported? Yes. On the top-right of the Channels tab, you click the group button to chose between 'All Channels' and any custom channel groups you've defined. This selection will also apply to the TV Guide tab, and will be remembered between runs of the application.

Since I have upgraded my software I get server errors when I try to pull up the web page tv guide. Plus now I can't stream my tv through my network to the kodi.tv. I am not sure what I need to attach to get some help I am currently at work and will attach request files when I get home?
I have an older Movie (Ghost, Demi Moore/Patrick Swayze) for which the metadata generation auto or manual, just doesn't seem to work.
It's a well known movie, so I thought would be a no-brainer, but even after deleting all references and fanart to Ghost including in thumbs and media, it always reverts to the incorrect show (see attached), some sort of mini-series. Choosing a MovieDB selection instead does not yield the correct movie.
Similarly Gravity (Sandra Bullock/Coffee Man).
1. Is there an easier way to get it to delete the current metadata guess?
2. Is there a way to find and force the correct show?
A while back I asked whether nfo files could be used; can they now be used?
I'm trying to get the transcoding work via the web interface.
After seeing "Requesting stream for channel. Standby..." I see the text "Streaming Failed (transcoder exited)".
