Under Manage Recordings, there is a Delete option in Table and Panel View - but not in Tree View. Just a thought, but it would be handy.

Hi all. I've been reading a lot on these forums lately as I've been trying to breathe new life into an older HTPC (Core i3-530). I've got NextPVR all setup on Windows 10, and I'm using a Hauppauge Colossus as my capture device. Everything is working great with the exception of my video quality. Unfortunately, my cable box uses HDCP (because the cable company wants me to spend more money to buy one of their PVRs :mad, so when I try to plug the HDMI into my Colossus, the HD video comes through perfectly for about 10 seconds and then I get an error from the cable box that says, "HDCP has been compromised. Please use YPbBr inputs." When I switch to the YPbBr component inputs, the video quality seems to drop down to standard definition.

To clarify a couple of things, previously I ran this HTPC with Windows 8.1 and used Windows Media Center. When I used the YPbBr component inputs for that setup, everything came through in 1080i just fine. But using NextPVR, I can only seem to get a standard definition image. There isn't anything wrong with the image performance—it isn't ghosting or anything—it's just low quality and looks exactly like a standard definition image.

This doesn't appear to be a rendering or decoding problem—I've installed the K-Lite CODEC pack and spent quite a bit of time using and configuring different ones to be sure. When I use the HDMI, I get proper HD video quality for 10 seconds before I receive the HDCP error from my cable box. I also know that the signal coming out of the YPbBr component inputs is HD because that's what I could get when I used Windows Media Center.

Does anyone know how I can correct this issue so that NextPVR will display a 1080i signal using the YPbBr component inputs with a Hauppauge Colossus?

I have the "Leadtek WinFast DTV 1800 H" connected to a satellite tv box using the Composite input.

I installed the SoftPVR components , and added the device in the AnalogDevice.xml file.
It worked, i was able to see the analog device in NextPVR.

I configured a channel and selected Composite under Input Source.
In the video decoders i tried with Mpeg2 set to : Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder
and i also tried "Leadtek DTV video decoder" .

The problem is that i only get Audio but not Video.
And also i noticed that the Cpu usage is high.

Which video decoders should i download so i will have video, and how can i resolve the High Cpu usage?

I am running V 3.6.6 on Windows 10. Since going to 3.6.6, alt-enter does not switch from window to full screen. If I'm in window mode and hit alt-enter, it minimizes to the task bar. If I change config to start full screen, same thing happens. I cannot say for sure what I was running before going to 3.6.6, but it was working. I don't have any other significant issues with 3.6.6, but this one is really aggravating. I looked over the notes for the 3.6.6 release and didn't see anything about this. Of course, it could be my particular setup, but it used to work before.

I get these randomly, this morning I got 4 of them. They kill the requested recording.

I hope this is the correct place for this question. I'm still learning but can anyone tell me how to use Titan TV listings with NextPVR? My current source is giving me problems and the Titan listings are more complete. I checked the forums and came up empty. Thanks!

I upgraded to the latest and greatest last week end and ever since then if I connect via NEWA and do an "episode search", choose a previous search, click "submit", then select one or more and click "Record selected" I get an error page back - titled "Server Error in '/' Application." but contains no useful information (I suspect that it's from FFox and not NEWA).

Happens every time here.

I would really like your help on this.

Issue: Only on "certain" channels, during LiveTV, NPVR hangs. Majority of channels do not have this problem.

Environment: NPVR in client/server mode. Wired gigabit Ethernet, 3 tuner HDHR Prime. Fiber Optic cable delivered to premise. High quality signal measured by HDHR on subject channel during the issue. All DRM channels have been removed in settings:HDHR devices - only non-DRM channels are available. Have tried multiple A/V decoders, including MS & those is SAF. Clients include Win7, Win8.1 & Win10. Server on W7, quad-core cpu.

Symptoms:
1. Whether watching subject channel Live on client, recording the subject channel or watching subject channel Live on server, NPVR hangs, requiring a channel change away, then back to restore the signal.
2. HDHR VIEW will not hang on subject channel, but sometimes the video will pause for a few seconds then will resume back to normal without user intervention, but audio is not interrupted while there is a pause in the video. That said, I have not yet established a correlation between the HDHR VIEW video pause and the NPVR hang.
3. VLC - no issues or hang ups of any sorts on subject channel during LiveTV, while at same time NPVR is hanging.

Conclusions:
Something NPVR is doing or not doing when compared to HDHR VIEW and VLC that is causing LiveTV hangs.

Questions:
What could be causing this? (logs attached)
Does NPVR use a timeout for a lost/corrupt signal before it stops play on LiveTV? If so, can this timeout be changed by the user and how would one go about doing it?

I have been having a problem with my PC ever since we moved house and I ended up having to move from a Hauppage terrestrial receiver card to a DVB Sattelite card (TBS6289 Dual)

I have tried full re-installs and lots of different settings but now I am slowly losing the argument with the damn thing...

Problem 1- Film4 seems to not work at all. I discovered that when viewing the channel in KODI it would hang after about 2 minutes and then render the software inoperable. After trying to watch the same channel in NPVR, I am greeted with a black screen and no sound and NPVR not responding. After a forced quit, it would hang on start-up. I played with the codecs, and am using the LAV decoders so after a play about and a full restart of the machine. It's all back up and running but still with no film 4.

Problem 2 - I've recreated the above problem a few times and each time I have to do a restart of the machine, I then find that the guide has huge chunks of info missing across all channels and I end up having to do a EPOG Update.

I have attached the logs (i hope) to see if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Oh, my OS is windows 10.
