Is there a faster way to merge channels? I have a ceton card (4 sources) and a hd homerun prime (3 sources) and the channel names are slightly different. I tried automerge and that didn't work. I tried a manual merge of a single pair of channels and taht seemed to take 30-45 seconds *per merge*. With > 300 channels that will take an eternity.
In previous versions, possibly 3.5.7 for instance you could rewind backwards after a commercial skip and watch it in the instance comskip got it wrong, this seems to be broken now, it just jumps to the end of the marked commercial again after a few seconds,
I've reinstalled 3.5.7 on one client and it seems to be fixed,
using the 3.5.7 npvrtsreader2 file by itself does nothing, also after we skip forward, novr hangs reasonably often, with an apphangb1 msg,sometimes after waiting 5 minutes it will continue working, I don't know if 3.5.7 fixes this problem yet, is anyone setting this behavior, or even have a fix?
Latest nextpvr running Jarvic RC2 on nexus player. Several times I had a show paused. Came back to find the nexus player on a screen saver. Clicked the button to go back to kodi and found out that it had stopped playback. Anyone see this?
I'm new to NextPVR, actually just in the stages of seriously considering it as a replacement for WMC as my home PVR. So my setup currently works fine with WMC and an InfiniTV4 tuner with cable card but I'm looking to stay current and NextPVR seems the best next step. So my question is, will I lose any current channels with the switch to NextPVR? Specifically I do get HBO and I believe it's coded as copy-once but I could be mistaken about the details, if that channel won't work, will all the others assuming they are copy-freely? I was just looking for a quick answer regarding that before I take the time to setup NextPVR only to find out it won't work for m.
There are two things I would like to see added to the Search screen (if possible).
The first is adding "New" next to the air date and time for new episodes.
The second would be to add the ability to filter the search results by channel group. Rather than scroll through shows on all channels, I could create a group of sports channels or movie channels, for example.
The problem is that occasionally a program is recorded on the default folder rather the the folder selected during program record setup.
The two examples here are "Great Barrier Reef" (2/11/2016 8:00PM-9:00PM) and "MayDay" (2/12/2016 11:00PM-12:00AM) both intended to be recorded at "E:\MediaStore\Video\Arts, Science, and Information" but placed instead in the default "D:\MediaStore\Video".
This has happened over the past couple of years through several NPVR versions. However it only happens maybe once or twice every couple of weeks.
I have the feeling this may occur when the unit has a heavy processing load and be due to a hard drive not spinning up in time to satisfy NPVR but this may be entirely off base.
The setup has a fast quad processor, an SSD drive for the O/S, programs and program data (including NPVR version 3.6.6), as well as eight hard disk drives for A/V storage. NPVR is used to record about 130 hours per week from two tuner devices.
On the client, I go to Recordings, Ready,
select Ruptures, select S01E04, delete it, it disappear from the GUI, however it is still present on the Server folder.
I start NPVR on the server and the recording isn't there.
On the client NPVR folder, is-it normal that I have recurring-backup.xml recording-backup.xml files ?
It was the server at some point and I switch it to client at some point.
Could this be the reason why TV Listings schedules recording when I start NPVR on the client?
I installed NPVR 3.6.6, and the installation went normally (I think). I then installed the LAV filters. When I went to the decoder page of NPVR settings, LAV decoders do not show up in any of the drop-down menus, and the only selection of MPEG2 Video is disabled. Is there a step that I missed that would have added the LAV decoders to the list?
I wanted to watch TV recordings in Oculus Rift without having to go through the tediousness of burning/ripping for every programme. I use a mini DVB-T Stick, primarily for Android but works on Windows (and itâs much better reception/quality on a laptop). I tried WMC and TotalMedia - the recordings are fine when viewed on a media player, but atrociously jerky/stuttering in the Rift. Playback of NextPVR recordings are perfectly smooth, and without sync problems.
And with NextPVRs âwakeupâ I couldnât ask for anything better.
