I am generally a keyboard user and use the mouse only when I have to. NextPVR does have a very usable keyboard navigation scheme but it appears restricted to Esc, arrow keys, and Enter.
I would like to see a navigational enhancement to the keyboard by designating an underscored letter in each menu item as a "goto...enter" much like standard Windows menus have behaved since the flood.
I have two SilicondDust HD Homerun connect units for my set up. That gives me four tuners. I was watching live TV the other day and a message popped up that said something like "the tuner I was on was needed for a recording." I was so surprised I did not write it down exactly or just what I clicked on, but I did shut down the live TV. After a few seconds I started live TV and it played just fine. Later I noticed the recording that was scheduled had finished.
Well the question with three tuners not in use, why did the upcoming recording need the one I was on? It had three others to pick from. ???
Reading a forum some where a person stated they had a 32 bit OS and added enough memory to bring the total to 8Gb. Every one else told him the system could only use 4Gb max. He needed a 64 bit OS to use that much memory. Well, he stated programs still loaded and his system worked better with the 8Gb installed. When he took out 4Gb, the system slowed down. Is this guy nuts or could it help speed up his computer?
My Setup is WIN 7,NextPVR 3.6, and HDHomerun Prime on COX Cable in U.S.
I have the setup for awhile and for the longest time it recorded just fine, but recently I noticed certain channels are constantly not recording. Those channels are 1005 (FOXHD), 1006 (CBSHD), and 1007 (CWHD). All other channels are recording fine. I noticed that during the time where the channels are failing to record or records but is pixelated beyond able to watch. I can go to the HDHome run app and watch the channel with no issues. Curious if anyone else has had this issue?
Running openELEC Intel version (Isengard 15.2) and now updated to NextPVR 3.6.6 (on windows 7 ultimate 64bit). I believe the recording issue was working with the prior release of NextPVR, but since my recent upgrade the recordings no longer refresh until I a) turn off/on liveTV or b) reboot Kodi.
I get the recording show messages and recording complete messages and the show does record, however no indication on Kodi that it has recorded or available for playback.
I am using NextPVR 3.6.6 and am using Schedules Direct for my EPG. From SD all the channels are there. When I scanned for the channels on device setup it pickup all the channels. when i setup channels to schedules direct and chose my cable carrier and did a bulk mapping some of the channels are not in the list. can anyone help me with this.
There are no -24hrs/+24hrs buttons in TV Listings â these buttons are in TV Guide. Am I missing something? There's not much difference between the two plugins, and if TV Listings just hasn't got this feature then I'll go back to TV Guide.
Can some kind heart offer a little direction to a lost soul?
I've lost the ability to view the NEWA web site on my local machine. When I try to get to Localhost:8866, it immediately display an error message about MetadataEntity. I've tried multiple browsers, and checked the web.log for clues, but nuthin'.
I can view NEWA from using this PC and directing the browser to another machine, tho. So, it's got something to do with this local machine.
