I would like to be away from home for a week or so and be able to log into my NPVR and schedule a recording to be done while I am gone

Hi there,

When I use NEWA with IE9 or IE11 and select a program from the EPG for recording, the 'Record This Episode'-button doesn't become active. You can't press the button to start recording. When you go over the button with your mouse it doesn't do anything.

It does work with Google Chrome.

Anybody that has got the same problem and knows how to fix this?

I had set this up a few days ago and actually had this working when I first installed it, I recorded 1 show on quick record and it worked fine, but then I started to add all my channels and I lost audio so I started messing with the settings and hauupage drivers I used and I can no longer watch live tv or record anything.

nextpvr will change channels and says it is recording or on live tv, but nothing shows up on the screen. The temp file stays empty and when I record the record will also be at 0kb. Once I cancel the recording and try to change the channel or record something else the blaster starts going real slow so it doesn't actually change the channel because there is a delay in each digit and like before it doesn't actually record or do anything although it thinks it changed the channel and its working. What I have to do at that point is delete the hauupage device from my device manager and reboot, then I am back to the point where it will change the channel, but not record anything.

Any ideas? I am using the Hauupage 1.7.30059.1 drivers on windows 8.1. Attached my logs

I found some non empty folders of deleted recordings containing -thumbs.jpg file.

I'm getting an error when trying to record a show from the web interface. The process is I search for a show, check the box next to the show I want to record, click "Record Selected" and I get an error message that says "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

I've installed NextPVR 3.6.6 as an alternative to Windows Media Center before I move to Windows 10.
Currently running Windows 7 64 bit
Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250
using the included remote & IR blaster
My cable provider is Shaw (in Canada) and I have a set top box (Motorola DCT700/US) providing my TV signal

Everything works fine under Media Center
Under NextPVR i have a picture and sound.

When I attempt to change the channel using the remote on NextPVR I see the channel digits on the OSD, the channel name/title changes as well
There is a pause, but the channel never changes to the channel I entered from the remote.

Is there a setting that I have not found that when in the main menu and you select live TV that a certain channel will always start playing?

I have a server/client configuration under Windows 10 (NextPVR 3.6.6 server + Kodi 16.0 beta 3 confluence client + add-on NextPVR client 1.12.3).
Xmltv TV guide file is downloaded by NextPVR server on the kazer.org website.
Everything worked properly except TV guide genres.
In Kodi TV guide all TV programs appear with the genre "Other / Unknown" so that search genres like "films" in the guide are impossible.
I specify that :
- all genres are available in the original xmltv TV guide file
- all genres are correctly displayed in the TV guide with NextPVR client
This problem was the same under previous versions of Kodi and NextPVR.
I think there is a bug in add-on NextPVR client 1.12.4.
Can somebody help me to solve this problem ?

Any chance of adding a hide encrypted channels option to the scan results dialog if you have the time?
