This problem just cropped up this weekend - when I play my home videos from my Canon camera, they appear on my MVP units with a white text overlay saying "PICvideo" at the top of the screen and "www.jpg.com" at the bottom. The sound and picture are also out of sync (video too fast).
Same thing happens on all my home videos, old and new, but not on TV recordings GBPVR has made.
However these videos play fine on the PC (either directly or via GBPVR on the PC).
The website mentioned seems to belong to Pegasus Imaging, a maker of video codecs, so may be it is a licencing issue?

Thanks in advance
Lionel.

sounds like you have a trial version of the pegasus software installed on the pc and the trial has expired. perhaps try uninstalling it so windows reverts to the3 default avi player.

Yup, an expired demo of the mjpeg codec used for that avi.
Try one of these:
http://www.freepctech.net/files/m3jpeg120c.exe
http://www.freepctech.net/files/m3jpegv2.exe
Microsoft's WMP 10 and DX9.0c both contain mjpg codecs (unconfirmed).

Edit, your canon software should also include a licensed version of some mjpeg codec of some sort.
You can never have enough tuners!
