Hey Sub.
I know that MVP + AVI is unstable, and you don't want to spend a lot of time here, but I noticed a weird behavior, so this time I reproduced and attached the log, in case you notice anything obviously weird
I was watching an AVI (a "Just shoot me" episode). You know how when you press the blue button, the OSD pops up, and when the file is currently being transcoded, you see the total duration of the show increase
Anyway, every once in a while, sometimes this bar stops increasing and stays stuck at a certain value. This kinda throws the timeline all over the place. Skipping a commercial will send you at a random position in the file, etc.
It happened on that show yesterday. Nothing went wrong on the transcode (that I know of), and I could watch the whole 30 minute show. But the timebar got stuck at 23min and 10 seconds, and never went further. Before that, I tried to skip the commercials a couple times, and every time got sent to what seemed to be random positions in the recording
When playing, I reached that 23min10sec time position at 11:58PM last night, and I peacefully watched another 6 minutes of perfectly transcoded video. But from 11:58 to 12:04, the timebar got stuck on 23:10. Both total duration and current position.
So anyway, I'm attaching the logs here. I don't know if it's a MVP issue, or if it's sign of a logic problem in the calculations, or a bug, etc...
Here it is: [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]
