I just did a clean reinstall of windows, and now my GB-PVR is not working.

It will load and play videos from my video library fine, but when I go to watch TV, I get one of two things:

* If I click "Live TV" I get a blank screen. No video, no OSD, no nada.
* If I go through the Guide, when I click "Watch" GB-PVR does nothing.

FYI:
* I've installed my PVR-150 drivers
* I'm using the latest version of GB-PVR (which worked fine before the reinstall)
* I've installed .Net
* I've installed Media Player 10

Any help?
Thanks, Miles Teg

More Info:

If I record something, I can play it back with Windows Media Player, but there is no sound...

What MPEG-2 decoder are you using?

I've tried several decoders:

* The system default (which it what I normally set it as)
* The decoder from Power DVD.
* The Haupauge MPEG decoder.

When I use something other than the system default, I occasionally get video when I try to watch TV, but most of the time I get just static, or a reddish blue tinted background instead of black. I've checked the TV signal with a real TV, and it's fine. the OSD will come up, and display the channel information with the other decoders too.

I'm beginning to suspect that I might have a hardware problem, but I'm not sure. I've tried installing Haupauge WinTV2000, and the trial version of BeyondTV, and neither of those are working either. I'll try reinstalling Windows again this weekend, and see if something went wrong with that. *sigh*

Any other things I can check? Is there any way to test my PVR-150 to see if it's malfunctioning (other than trying other PVR software?)

If its not working in the Hauppauge WinTV 2000 software, thats a bit serious sounding. It might be worth posting your fault over at http://www.shspvr.com/smf since they have a wider exposure to faults etc.

Thanks Sub! I didn't know about that forum.

Apparently I had downloaded a bad version of the drivers some time ago (and hadn't used them yet).

The bad version is: 23348, and went back to 23258 and all is well.
