Ok, so... I realize how this is going to sound, and I'd be shocked and amazed if there wasn't an easy fix for it, but since I installed 0.96.12, i haven't been able to access any plugins, whatsoever. The only plugin I'm really dying for at the moment is MyPrograms, but I'd like the ability to use a few others as well.

So in order to test wether or not it was simply a limitation of the new skin that comes default, i decided to do a clean install of gbpvr, the latest MyPrograms plugin as well as a few other misc. plugins, as well as a few other skins that i have no interest in using, but that claim to fully support the plugins i tried...

Regardless which skin I use, and which plugins are installed, the only items on the menu are the standard stock ones... Keep in mind this is on an isolated machine that has all of the latest Windows updates, and has never seen a GBPVR installation before, so it doesn't seem to be limited to my machine at home.

Is it simply a matter of 0.96.12 requiring an update to all existing plugins, or what? If not, and it's something that i'm doing wrong, I would have expected to see others posting about similar problems, but haven't seen any yet. Can anybody offer any suggestions?

zip and attach your logs and I'll take a look. I'm not aware of any issues that would cause this.

You didnt remove the check mark from the 'plugins enabled' setting in the config app?

I was messing around with mine and tried to install some plugins and I noticed that I could not see any of mine in the menu either.

sorry for the delay - here are the logs from the work machine. it's a fresh install, though you'll likely notice theres no tuner setup or anything else of that nature, but plugins should still work regardless. i'll try and bring logs from home the next chance i get.

I can see an attempt to load two plugins in those logs.

One (Appearance Manager) fails because it cant find the supporting CommonGBPVRUtilities.DLL file. Downloading and installing this file should correct the issue.
Quote:3/30/2006 2:48:30 PM.003 ERROR [2] Inner exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: File or assembly name CommonGBPVRUtilities, or one of its dependencies, was not found.

The other (My Programs) fails because the Chameleon skin you're using doesnt support this plugin. If you switch to the default blue skin, this plugin will probably load.
Quote:3/30/2006 2:48:30 PM.018 ERROR [2] Inner exception: System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\Chameleon\My Programs\Skin.xml"

i'll download the commonGBPVRUtilities and give it a shot, under both skins, but absolutely stock the My Programs plugin wouldn't load. I'll post updated logs momentarily, with stock skin and util's.

No, I too am dying for the My Programs plugin and according it its developer, reven, it isn't working in 0.97 yet. See the following post:

http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=8

So, if you're reading this reven, I want to express my gratitude for your awesome plugins! But I checked on your website and on the wiki, and I am dying for an update to 0.97. When is it gonna be available?

Wow, please excuse me, I completely misread the title and the post, I thought this was about problems since installing 0.97.x, and I thought it was recent.

Sorry I derailed your discussion.
