v0.97.07 MVP mpeg play problem

It seems to always be a very tedious journey of trying a billion settings, looking through the logs, etc. I have both Hauppauge services running. Below are my codec's if they help any.

Video Decoder - MainConcept [Hauppauge] MPEG
Overlay Manager
Use FFDSHOW post-processing
Blue MVP Skin
dongle.bin
Transcode pre-play delay 2000
Fully transparent OSD
Force minimal OSD for MVP
BDA Multiplexer: Microsoft DVR-MS
I am also using My Videos 5 which for some reason seems to be much more reliable for playback.

I don't know how much each of those have on playback but with the new 97 version of GBPVR and the patch happy days are here.

Thanks for the trouble to find those settings. I just tried them, but they have no effect, except that I need to leave the MVPMediaSVC service running, as before. (If I leave the MVPMedia service running, I get the Hauppauge display on my TV, not GB-PVR). But if MVPMediaSVC is not running, when I try to play DivX, I get a blank screen, or else it starts to play for a second or two. In either case, it drops the connection to the server after about 5 seconds, and I can't get it back without a reboot. Curiously, the transcoding continues to work even after the connection is dropped, since I get a "MVP000DFE03030A.mpg" file in my recording directory that continues to grow in size until I reboot. Maybe further discussion belongs in another topic, since this may not be directly related to 97.7.

Can I resurrect this thread?

I am new to GBPVR and cannot stream MPEg files recorded using GBPVR to my MVP.

I can stream XVID files fine. It must be something to do with the issues discussed earlier. My problem is I am using the latest version of GBPVR (0.97.13) and the patch left by "SUB" is not compatible.

How can I fix this?
