Zap 2 It Problems

For you guys from Nova-Scotia, you have two options until the next release is out:

- Use XMLTV which should allow you set the timezone as described by bitter_old_man
- Or use MS Access to open the GBPVR.mdb file. Then change the offset listed in the ZAP2IT_EPGSOURCE table. Change the offset to -180.

If we open the config program again will it overwrite the change?

No, but if you open the zap2it configuration screen in the config program, then it will over write the setting. Just stay away form that screen and you'll be ok.

I ask because it doens't seemt o ahve changed anything, would I have to update my zap2it listings agian to get it to take?

You'll have to click 'Empy EPG' first, then 'Update EPG'. These timezone offsets are only applied during importation, so whats already there wont be changed.

Dang I just went through 45 mins of it updating and now I have to empty the EPG and hit update EPG

My tv listings were ahead by one hour as well so I changed it to pacific daylight time
