Connection cannon be made

Hey guys. I need a bit more help. I tried to watch live tv and I get a message that a connection cannot be made because the target machine activley refused it.
Can you help?

Sounds like a firewall blocking the TCP connection which GBPVR uses for video.
I'm unsure what ports you have to open for it to work - but I am sure someone will be able to tell you or you may find by searching the forum.

What anti virus software / firewall are you running. I know Sub said there was a couple which interfere with GBPVR (NOD, Panda?)

Also I've seen this when the service (GBPVR Recording Service) has fallen over/shut down/not running.

Yeah, now thinking about it - I get that when FTP'ing to one of my PC's and I dont have the FTP service started on it - so the fix is more likely to be that suggestion.
