Well, I implemented the quartz.dll fix and it seemed to help a little, but I still have max CPU usage on one processor, but not another.

Try setting <ForceSingleProcessorAffinity>false</ForceSingleProcessorAffinity> in config.xml.

Hmm, well that seemed to even out utilization, but it shot up to 80% total and it didn't play much better. I just noticed something else. I can watch and playback fine in Beyond TV, but if I try and watch something I recorded in Beyond TV using windows media player, it is choppy just like in GBPVR.

Another thing that is odd is that when I try and do a scheduled recording, GBPVR pops up a playback window.

What version of GB-PVR you using? There was a bug that would cause v0.97 to do this, but it shouldnt with v0.98.

EDIT: I turned off hardware accleration in decoder options and analog is great now...

SDTV digital streams play pretty good...but hdtv just stutters along.. Although in WMP the recordings are great!
Is this still the case?

Good thing. I never liked the elecard decoder though. This thread has helped learn what I need to look at once I get an HDTV Wonder.
