Using Fusion 3.30 drivers and current GBPVR 9808.

FWIW was not able to get this to work with Fusion versions 3.41 and 3.50Beta2 either.

What does this mean?
00:29:51.671 VERBOSE Successfully auto detected tuner filter: FusionHDTV, Transport Stream Capture
00:29:51.671 VERBOSE ConnectPins: 'MPEG2 Transport' to 'MPEG-2 Stream'
00:29:51.671 VERBOSE ConnectPins failed: hr = 80040217

Had GBPVR working on initial install ages ago with 3.30 and 970x, but after machine rebuild and newer GBPVR/Fusion drivers it has never worked. Have tried different VMR/Overlay settings with no luck.

In all cases, the FusionHDTV application works fine. In the SF Bay Area with roof antenna and amplifier, so signal is fairly good.

Anyone else with a similar setup that works?

One thing I forgot to add is that I also tried adding the ATSC scanning prototype in atsc-scan5.zip. No channels are found...

I'm guessing the names in bda.ini for the fusion card do not match those with the current version of the drivers you're using. You may need to check what version of the fusion drivers other are using, or alternatively update bda.ini to match the names with your current drivers.

Thanks for the tip. I looked in the BDA.INI and see the same names in GraphEdit.

However, when I add the FusionHDTV, BDA Tuner to GraphEdit there is no output pin.

This seems wrong, but there were no errors on Fusion install and not sure how it would be possible to fix it, or why no one else is complaining about this...

I looked at bda.grf and lastgraph.grf and the BDA Tuner does have an MPEG2 output pin. But if I try to connect it to the Transport Stream I get error 80040217.

It probably doesnt show the output pin until it has an upstream connection, so nothing to worry about there.

Are you positive nothing else on the machine is using this device - this would give you the behaviour you describe. If you're on MCE, you need to stop some service to free the card.

Yes! It is on MCE, although there is no analog tuner so MCE has no TV functionality.

The old machine that worked was plain XP, but my new clean install is MCE -- so I will try with stopping the e* services.

If anyone knows the specific one that is problematic, please let me know.
Is this documented in the wiki?

Thanks so much, Glen.

For the record, stopping the Media Center Receiver Service made things work. I stopped the service and changed the service startup from Automatic to Manual.
