Is it possible to play music/video files from a networked drive? I tried adding a shortcut to the drive but in gbpvr it shows up but nothing is located inside the folder.

Dont know what you meant by "shortcut", but if you either
- Map a drive (say, "m:\") to where you're files are ?(say "\\my-other-pc\share\") and then add "M:" in the "Directories" tab in the Config app - Manually edit config.xml to directly add the UNC path (e.g. "\\my-other-pc\share\media\music") should work.

Since we're talking Windoze boxes it is a good bet they do. That's how I've gotten all my network shares into GB-PVR. You absolutely must use UNC paths if you're running the MediaMVP client.

I'm having the same issue with my MVP.
GVP is on a machine called PVR. All my storage is a on machine called FAMILY. All the media files from FAMILY are shared, they work on PVR. They work through gbpvr.exe. But they won't work through my MVP box. This is what my config.xml looks like: <PhotoLibraryDirectory>Pictures~\\FAMILY\Media\Pictures|</PhotoLibraryDirectory> I used config.exe to make the entry. What am I doing wrong? Thanks Miles
