I've had a good look at the logs and config, and the only guess I can come up with is that you've applied some patch from the forums that wasnt intended for the release you're using - most likely an incorrect version of PsiParser.ax. Have you applied any patches since you installed v0.98.13?

It looks like its dying when it goes to setup the PsiParser, like the version of the PsiParser doesnt support the call its trying to make.

the only thing I've installed, is the latest version of my videos.

So any advice to get it working? I've got downloads of 09713 and 09608....I think only 09608 is stable.

It certainly seems to be starting the recording service ok.....as I can see that's running.....then event viewer isn't giving any errors....

has anyone ANY ideas at all? should I install the patch from Microsoft for the .NET problem? It's so annoying....

Just tried the hotfix for the .net problem - didn't work.....

so don't know what to try now......

Can you try uninstalling GB-PVR, deleting the GB-PVR directory, then reinstalling? I want to make sure we've got all the correct version of binaries.

Just reinstalled - starting from scratch....

First problem - scanning channels made GBPVR crash with this error:

apart from that little crash - it seems to be working!!!!
