Software MPEG-2 Playback

Hi,

I have a newbe question, what are the best settings to use in Software MPEG-2 Playback under Video Audio decoder and Audio Renderer?

Tough question to give a definitive answer. It depends on your entire setup. What Mpeg video decoders do you have available?

I personally like the Nvidea Pure Video decoder, but I imagine there are others that have different preferences. It uses the acceleration hardware on my ATI card so my CPU cycles aren't very high and the color looks better than the a few other decoders that I have tried.

For audio decoders, I usually select the one that is paired with my video decoder if possible. For the audio renderer, I can't tell any difference with the ones that I have. Some people that run things besides normal stereo, have their particular preferences.
