pvrdude Wrote:BlastCFG shows WinTV IR Blaster Source Channel as 'No WinTV Channel Selected!' Is that because I'm not using that portion of the WinTV software but instead using gbpvr? Second question in which I'm more unsure about is the options below that. 'Use Hauppauge IR Blaster HW' and 'Allow External IR Blaster App.' Using the pvr150, I check the first option, right? The second one is for external blasters such as one you might need if you had the PVR 350 in your computer, right?
To be honest, its probably been two years since I last saw the BlastCFG app, and I dont remember it well so I'm not in a great position to answer questions on it. For a PVR150, I'm guessing 'use hauappauge IR Blaster HW'.

Quote:I still don't see where I configure the '.exe Change Channel' as I thought it should be changed to *something* Hauppauge.
Set your capture source to use the '.exe channel changer' option, then click the 'settings' button next to it. You see a popup window asking for a file name. Browse to and select "haupblast.exe" in the GB-PVR directory.

I got it to work. Someone who also got it to work can tell me if I have the correct settings. But, after much tweaking, I was able to get it to work. I'm going to make notes so I know what settings I had when it was working.

In GB-PVR Config:
Capture Sources - Edit - Edit Recording Source
Channel Changer: .exe Changer Plugin - Settings - Executable: "DRIVE LETTER":\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\HaupBlast.exe
DVD & Remote - Remote Control Type - Settings - Default (Hauppauge)
--click 'Fix Hauppauge Remote Settings (45 button remote)'
Restart IR
Run the WinTV Hauppauge BlastCfg
Blaster Config
Check that all settings are correct and under WinTV IR Blaster Source Channel settings, click both. At least, I did. The first one selected didn't work. I decided to click the external IR Blaster, too. I went to check, I could change channels. I just know using the first one didn't work. Perhaps, only the 2nd one selected would work but I have both selected right now and I can change channels so far. I'm using Port 1.
Go to Advanced Settings and save the settings.

Only problem now is that the picture is in black and white!
